Liked: It was very clean, the room was very large and was perfect for a short stay in Vienna.

Disliked: There was no comment on the construction work that was going on right outside the hotel on the website or hostelbookers comments from others. This wasn't loud or annoying but it would've been nice to know before. Also the laundry service was very expensive - 12E a load which was extremely expensive to a traveller.

Liked: It was clean and it had internet.

Disliked: The staff- one person, was not helpful at ALL, she spent in total maybe 10 mins explaining where everything was like we were already there and we should know. The building is super creepy by night because it's in a secluded ally, covered by construction work material. And if you need to leave your bags behind for some reason after checkout, you can do so in the HALLWAY.

Liked: The place is very clean and cozy. The location is perfect, close to the metro and the train station, and it's very convenient for shopping as well.

Disliked: it's a bit noise, because the room window just face the bus stop.

Liked: The property was in a safe and secure location. It was very clean and tidy, and we felt comfortable within the hotel.The cost of having laundry was excessive - 12 Euro and there were no towels provided. These were at a further cost of 3 Euro each per day, which, for the cost of the room was also excessive. We were under the impression also that breakfast was included however this was not the case - although they did provide tea and coffee for one morning only!

Liked: We enjoyed our stay here. What you see on Internet is what you get. Excellent location and clean large rooms with own ensuit. No fridge available was a disapppointment, as the local markets had ecxellent food we could not store easily. Great for independant travellers. Some negative reviews need to be taken in context. We stayed at same time as another traveller who complained the whole time of lack of service and too many stairs. If you need someone to help you the whole stay, this is not for you as they are just apartments, which suited us perfectly. Also there are a total of 20 stairs, not much at all so don't worry if you can handle this. We would stay here again for sure.

Liked: I stayed at K&T Boardinghouse 2 with my boyfriend between 10 March 2010 and 14 March 2010. It was a very pleasant stay. The room was big but very cozy, with wooden floors and heating. The bathroom was just enough for two people (but bring your own bath towels!). We had a sofa, a closet and a little table with two chairs perfect to have breakfast in the morning (the breakfast is not included but there is a coffe machine, 2 mugs and 2 spoons). The TV was huge!K&T Boardinghouse 2 is a very quiet place and the hostess is really friendly. She gave us a map of Vienna and explained where to go and what to see. She gave us the key to the front door and to the K&T Boardinghouse 2 door so we could get in and out when we wanted.The location is the best! Next to the Mariahilfer Strasse – the main shopping street that leeds to the Museum Quarter and the Hofburg Palace. The underground station (Neubagasse) is just in front of the Boardinghouse.I would definitely recommend K&T Boardinghouse 2 to other travelers especially if you are looking for a calm and cozy stay, extremely close to the main shopping street and the underground (main line).

Liked: The room and en-suite were absolutely spotlessly clean. Also nice little touches like tissues next to the bed and a kettle with tea and coffee were available. We also got a free tourist map of Vienna with landmarks pointed out for free from Tina who looks after the place.

Liked: Tina is awesome. Its kind different from what you find from other hostels. Is more quiet. You get a great sleep. Its really near the metro station and from one of the most famous streets in wien. So definitly recommend it and i will be back.

Liked: When you arrive at the hostel you meet with the lady in charge who talks you through the sights of Vienna and how to get everywhere around the city. Everywhere is walkable! Big and clean room with own bathroom and tv! They do say towels are provided though and when they say towels they mean tiny hand towels so be aware that you need to take your own towel as well!
