Liked: The best breakfast we had all trip!! Muesli cornflakes really good fresh bread Various jams and spreads Various teas Delicious and so filling! Really much better than what we had had previously. The lockers and beds were grand directions were grand!

Liked: 1. figured if I booked in a more central location, I'd pay less in transportation. Not true.. Sure when it's bright and sunny, medium temperature, it can be a nice walk there. But to get to all of the historic stuff it's a confusing two miles. It rained while I was here so I mainly took metro. Considering the ease and price of the metro I would get a better, cheaper hostel a little farther out. It would be a few minutes more. If you want to go out and come in a lot.. Get the Vienna card. You'll get a better hostel for probably the same price overall if you do that.2. The breakfast is a joke. Coffee and tea, no water etc. Hard rolls, jam and two kinds of medicore tasting cereal ( corn flakes and ok museli). You could buy thisStuff at the grocery store for 50 cents... And not have to cook anything. Since all the hostels in the area are cheaper and seem to offer more filling breakfasts (from what I read), that's the only reason I complain about this one.3. The kitchen is a George Forman portable grill.. Two shelf things that constitute a refrigerator and a microwave. If your version of cooking includes needing yogurt and being able to cook fishsticks, then you'll find the kitchen ok.4. Apparently all school groups stay here so the whole time I was here, kids from 11-14, like 100 of them were screaming and prank knocking our doors5. The door in our bathroom had to be slammed, as in full weight, to get it open.6. on the plus side, the beds and lounge were comfortable. The showers stayed warm.I've stayed at hostels for months and this one would be ok if there weren't cheaper ones for when I booked. I booked late, so maybe I couldve gotten a better deal.. I paid 22 euro a night for an 8 room wheras I saw places with the same amenities for 15 euro. I thought location, breakfast and a kitchen would cut down my costs... But not really here.3.

Liked: The location was really nice. It was easy to get to the train station and main tram route. It was also doable to walk into town and to the palace from it's location. It was also a great help that they had breakfast in the morning and a luggage storage place. They didn't mind that I kept my bag there all day in order to catch a night train out in the evening.The only thing that was annoying was that the door locks were tricky. It was difficult to use your key to get in the room, and even a bit tricky to leave. The locks could really use an update. The rest of the facilities were nice, with a comfy gathering space, and a tiny kitchen like space. It even had a sandwich press so after a trip to a nearby grocery store you could even have a warm sandwich.

Liked: The hostel is nice just close to the main HBF railway station and nice place to stay , I met friendly people here ,,, good value for the money and modest breakfast .

Liked: Very nice hostel, clean, simple but decent breakfast, as comfortable as beds get in a hostel. Bathrooms in the rooms was good as well. Still expensive by my standards (and it's annoying that towels, internet, and laundry aren't comped), but I'm used to traveling in Eastern Europe, so maybe that's just me.

Liked: The breakfast was good and the common rooms were great, we had a wonderful time throwing picnics on the terrace. The beds were quite comfortable, even if the sheets weren't top notch.

Liked: The location is excellent and the staff are friendly and helpful. The breakfast is also great. Very clean and pleasant. This hostel gets top marks from my friend and I. :)

Liked: It is very clean and look modern but 12people in the same room with only 1 bathroom,that is not good for me. Anyway,I can't complain much because it is a hostel. You get what you pay.

Liked: The sheets were so soft and the beds were comfortable. It was really close to the train station, and easy to get to attractions. Breakfast in the morning was alright. Helpful staff. Overall really good.

Liked: The location was great, very near the train station and good to walk to city centre. I walked all over Veinna and didn't need public transport. Staff were quite helpful but not always easy to approach. The breakfast was pretty average. I don't drink tea or coffee so had nothing to drink unless I paid extra for juice. The 1st place that I have stayed at that includes breakfast but with no juice!
