Liked: Good breakfast, close to centre, comfortable bed.

Disliked: 1 toilet/shower for 10 people is crazy. The toilet and bathroom are in the one room so if your having a shower everyone else has to go downstairs to use the toilet. It's not ideal. The staff were nice but we had to be assertive and ask directions/maps/info but once we asked they were knowledgible

Liked: The breakfast was nice and it was in a great location - near the international train station and a nice walk along the main road to get to the centre of town.

Disliked: EXTREMELY noisy in my particular room. Staff were not particularly helpful re: the hostel (where the room, breakfast room etc were etc - theyd didn't leave the front desk like most other staff do to show you around), nor with the location of the hostel and sights within the city, tours etc. They were able to vaguely direct me to a cheaper internet cafe, but was on my own for the rest of it...!

Liked: cheap, functional hostel, not far from downtown

Disliked: the staff were minimal in dispatching info- and the entire place is not really configured for social contact

Liked: - the location is great - clean rooms and especially nice bathroom - tasteful breakfast - parking garage is near and not so expensive - U bahn is really near too - guy who was working sunday (march 6th) morning was REALLY helpful and nice

Disliked: - reception staff could improve their english a little bit

Liked: good friendly staff. Right near the westbanhof so finding it wasnt difficult,

Disliked: nothing really, it was a hostel and everything you'd expect in a hostel was there.

Liked: Spacious room.

Disliked: Bad reception. People are not guided, keys are broken, lots of presumption from reception guys. Nobody helpful - all in all.

Liked: I liked the central location in Vienna, that's priceless, also that is near many fast food restaurants and supermarkets...

Disliked: maybe the lack of computers with free Internet... there are computers but you have to pay to use them

Liked: clean and close to train station. lots of other hostels around make it better for interactions with other travellers at the local travel bar.

Disliked: have to catch train to get into city, no bar which makes it harder to meet new people.

Disliked: there was something with the doorlock, nobody in the room was able to open it easily from outside, and it was a little bit unconfortable to wake up at dawn an let the roommates inside

Liked: We liked everything! There were some people who said that stuff at the reception is not helpfull, but this is so not like that!We came in the morning at 6 ( check in is at 15) and we just asked to put our stuff somewhere then we go and come check in. the guy told us that the room was empty and we could get in already so that was nice! Also free wi-fi is good and that the door is opened 24 hours!

Liked: The location

Disliked: The staff at the reception is extremely unfriendly and disinterested in helping. Its like someone has forced them into doing their job. Would give a negative rating to the reception staff if I could. However, the other staff in the cafeteria during the breakfast was extremely friendly and helpful. Also, they seem to want to fleece u in terms of other charges... there is a payphone in the lobby which does not refund the remaining balance. The hostel charges 1 euro to access the internet for 15 mins where as outside its available at 50 cents for 20 mins.

Liked: Kitchen available, breakfast included, good location - close to main train station.

Disliked: 8 bed 'mixed' dorm, 1 female, 7 males including men over 40 years of age. Unhelpful staff.
