It llooks very good for the price, lots of place (lounge, diningroom, bar and self-service kitchen to meet other people or to just relax, meaning also a place where you can spend some quality time if you don't want to go out all the time. The owner is also a very nice lady!

music room - 4 guitars, a piano and encouragement for everyone to feel at home and just relax. It really promoted getting to meet fellow travellers and the staff were incredibly helpful!

Good kitchen, very very clean! Dorms were pretty spacious and it was close to the main train station and easy to access all other main sights.

Excellent hostel. They organise a pub crawl every monday and wedensday, which has been the best fun i've had on my trip thus far. Great staff, happy hour every day. Great place to meet people. Would definately stay with them again.

This hostel was awesome! It was so pretty and clean and the starr was very friendly (especially the bartender). Its very close to the Westbanhof and we met tons of cool people there! And, they have free wireless.

The hostel was big and and close to town. The bar was pretty busy and easy to meet people. The staff were helpful.

The staff are friendly, the bar is fun, everything is clean, by far one of the better hostels I've stayed at.

Great atmosphere. Bar was cheap and welcoming. Garden very peaceful. Staff were friendly and helpful. However, breakfast was not included in the price and the Internet is not free.

This was a really great hostel. One of our favourites. The common rooms were great. There is an area to sit at the bar and chat to peope, or just chill out away from others in another lounge area. There is also a courtyard right off the kitchen which was well equiped and kept clean. The dorm rooms were spacious and with a large locker big enough for big backpacks. Each dorm room had an ensuite also. We really enjoyed our stay at this hostel. We met some awesome people and loved the pub crawl that the hostel offered.

Hostel Ruthensteiner is a 3 minute walk from the Metro Station and the Westbahnof train station. The rooms look new and have an ensuite bathroom. The atmosphere reminds me of a ski lodge. There is a well-equipped kitchen and a bar downstairs that is going all night but seems to contain its noise so you would never know. No lockout, no curfew...great place to stay!

The hostel isright for everyone, from those wanting to rest to those wanting to party. Incredibly great price, spacious rooms, clean, lights in each bed, everything like new, bathrooms new (shower has a weird system that turns off evert 30 seconds!!). Totally recommendable
