Liked: The daytime staff were wonderful and really made you feel welcome upon arrival. The hostel has excellent common seas (HUGE) that make it easy to interact with other travelers. It's close to Westbahnhof if that's your transportation hub of choice.

Disliked: Definitely way more effort put into the common areas than the rooms. The bathrooms have push button showers that you can't adjust at all! The night staff were really disinterested and looked at you like you had two heads for saying hello.

Liked: Very clean with a nice friendly atmosphere. Ideal for young travellers.

Disliked: Quite a long walk from the centre of Vienna. However hiring a bike renders this irrelevant

Liked: loved this hostel. brilliant on all fronts.

Liked: The great bedrooms which are nearly like real hotel ones. The cleanlness, and the confort. The kitchen and the gardens are great, such as the music instruments which you can play.

Disliked: The breakfast far too small for 3 euros, the lack of internet access: contrary to what is mentioned on various booking websites, you need your own laptop to connect to wifi. There are also not enough showers (1 for 10 persons), and even if you wake up early, you may have to wait for quite a while before enjoying them

Liked: The atmosphere of the hostel, great place to meet other travellers and close to Westbahnhof.

Disliked: Nothing, room got a little warm during the evenings..but other than that cant fault it

Liked: Everything, it was really big, lots of areas to chill and meet people. Clean kitchen you can cook in, a bar with happy hour specials. Laundromat in the building with reasonable prices and free soap! The staff are all really friendly and happy to help you with any needs, or to print out tickets. They even helped us book a bus to Prague. There are many bathrooms and toilets and lockers to fit all your stuff. I would recommend to anybody (as even families were staying here) and I would stay here again.

Disliked: Its a little bit of a walk into the centre where you find most of Vienna's famous buildings, but I would not complain about anything.

Liked: New, clean, and comfortable beds.

Liked: Free lockers were good, free kitchen use was good. Recycling facilities were good to see.

Disliked: Breakfast was expensive to buy and you couldn't pay for your room with a debit card.

Liked: The outside garden and bar. The ensuite was good.

Disliked: There was no ladder to climb onto the bed. The directions to the hostel from the station need to be clearer as to which exit you need from the metro.

Liked: Nice garden area.

Disliked: Very small room but I saw the others and they weren't as bad. So I think we just got a dodge room.

Liked: Noooooo!

Disliked: This place is terrible! Dont stay here! You pay cheap but the end you need pay tax per day that anyone have idea for what is. Is better you pay 10 euros in another hostel than stay in that hostel. The bathroom is always dirty. The staffs impolite and rude.

Liked: The atmosphere is great, the staff is really helpfull and the rooms are big with a bathroom next to the room.

Disliked: Nothing but the location could be better. Just 2 stops away in the metro from the ringhstrasse.

Liked: Our stay was acceptable, but I don't think me or any of my travel companions will be automatically looking to return to the hostel. We were using this hostel as a place to stay, not as a place to really socialize or just hang out, and we found the rooming facilities to be acceptable, but not great. However, the common areas of the hostel were quite nice, though we only used it to eat breakfast that we bought from outside the hostel.

Disliked: 1. Bugs in one of the showers. What looked like fruit flies were colonizing on a shower curtain. I notified the desk staff about this to their horror. I'm guessing they took care of this issue soon afterwards. That said, one of the friends I was traveling with noted that the cleaning woman used liberal amounts of bleach in the showers. I guess she didn't think to check the bunched up shower curtains on a regular basis. 2. Really cramped rooms! I traveled with two friends, and arranging ourselves in the room felt a bit like one of those sliding numbers puzzle games.

Liked: The atmosphere was really nice. The (kind of garden) was beautiful, the common room was large, clean and pretty.

Disliked: nothing

Liked: It felt safe, secure, comfortable, clean and modern. Good facilities.

Disliked: It didn't seem to have the atmosphere and friendliness of some smaller hostels; but had more the feel of a hotel about it. It's also not so close to the city centre, though surrounded by restaurants, and not far from the main shopping street.

Liked: located near the main station.. suitable for young travellers, backpackers..

Disliked: room is too small for three or more people.. it seems to be suitable only for a single person stay.. maybe still alright for two persons stay.. there is no private bathroom and toilet.. toilet is very very small too! and the handwash sink is the smallest i have ever used so far... bathroom and toilet lights are of sensors, so it gets pitch dark halfway through showering... should construct switched lights instead..
