Liked: With Wombats you always know you're gonna get a clean and modern hostel with all the stuff you'll need and great ideas like cushiony areas to chill out on. The Lounge in Vienna is no exception!

Liked: This was an excellent place to stay. It is incredibly close to the underground and the train station. The ammenities were fabulous. The staff was extremely helpful. I cannot say enough about this hostel. We will definitely stay here again if we return to Vienna.

Liked: It is near to the Westbahnhof and allows for easy transfers to other parts of Europe. It also gives a warm and homely feeling with warm mood lighting.

Liked: the place as a whole was really fun. the bar downstairs was a great place to pregame. the breakfast was a good value too. the only thing i didn't like was the 40 year old man who was in our dorm. many places have an age limit but i guess they do not.

Liked: Cleanest hostel with the nicest rooms i have stayed in yet and the ensuite bathrooms with the hairdryer even in the dorm rooms were an absolute luxury!!

Liked: its really worth staying. you won't regret!I was staying at wombats for a day cause my fd's flight got delayed. Think its even better than a hotel( money and atmosphere- wise)!

Liked: I loved it! very helpful, clean, Nice BIG BED in lobby to hang around! the fact that they have a pub with 1 euro beer ruled! pool table Foosball, etc etc etc. I LOVE IT....room where very nice....near metro station THANX =)Go for it !!!

Liked: I loved the friendliness of the staff, the welcoming atmosphere, the hilarious signs. I also found the information posted on the walls about popular sight-seeing destinations, food, partying, etc. as well as the map provided at check-in, to be extremely helpful. I felt very much a part of the Wombat community for the nights I stayed there. Other guests were friendly and courteous and the staff was beyond helpful.

Liked: This is one of the best backpackers I have ever stayed in. Rooms were great and bathrooms had the best showers ever! Very welcome after a long days travel. There were lots of fabulous places to eat near by and very close to the easy to use underground with just a few stops to all the major sites.
