Liked: Breakfast was good but a little pricey at 3.90e. However, it is a good option when you're in need of a good breakfast in the morning.Was supposed to be in a 6 bed dorm but was allocated in a 4 bed dorm which was a plus! The entire hostel was new and clean on the whole. Location was a definite plus point compared to their other Wombats which is further away from WestHBF.Felt safe with the doors to the rooms and corridors only accessible by magnetic cards issued. Similarly, the lockers were only accessible by the card holder himself. Convenient and of course, modern.Showers were good. Toilets were clean and spacious.The bar downstairs offering cheap Austrian beer during happy hours was a plus too.Maps provided by the hostel were sufficiently good and did recommend a number of places to visit and restaurants to have a hearty and affordable meal as well.

Disliked: Lack of power points in the rooms. With all the new and modernized look of the hostel, the number and location of power points in the rooms were disappointing. There were only 3 power points in the 4 bed dorm and they were all beside the main door which doesn't make sense because no one would want to leave their valuable electronics at the door for charging overnight.

Liked: One of the best hostels I've stayed at. Excellent location, very clean, lots of fun with the people you meet there. I would obsolutely recommend this hostel.

Disliked: It needs more plugs to recharge the electronics, at least one per bed in the dorms.

Liked: I have never stayed in a hostel before, so I was very impressed by the standard of care, welcome and facilities. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The location was excellent and really added to the atmosphere of feeling like we were right in the heart of Vienna. I'm slightly (!) older than your average guest, but it was amazing how well the younger travellers were looked after. I think that every parent should visit a Wombat's hostel, and know that their kids are being well cared for! A brilliant stay, so no more boring hotels for me. Thank you for a great experience. I met some brilliant people and I would highly recoomend Wombats to anyone!

Liked: The Wombats chain really know what they are doing, everything is good here especially the cheap bar where you can also get basic cheap food. Very reliable and well priced. Another plus is this hostel is right across the street from the train station and metro, also the Cafe Mozart around the corner does an amazing $15 Mixed Grill.

Liked: Loved how close metro and train station are. Know that there are plugs in the room somewhere (even if they say there aren't)! Cleaned bathroom everyday by staff. Great breakfast and downstairs bar!

Liked: They are in a great location, right by the train station. The towels and linens are free, the rooms are big and clean, the lockers are big and secure, the bar in the basement was the coolest bar I have seen in a hostel, and they even have skype on their computers!
