Liked: The location is great if you are traveling by train...it's literally across the street. It's a little far from the main sights but the underground system is definitely one of the best and the staff gave great advice on the best way to get to different places. It was clean and I felt very safe.

Disliked: Wish the wifi worked in the rooms and not just the lobby area. It wasn't a big deal but it would have been a lot more convenient.

Liked: Very clean, comfortable beds, staff very helpful.

Disliked: It's a big hostel--kinda reminded me of staying in a college dorm. I find that with the bigger hostels, its harder to meet people. Seems like there were alot of big groups (possibly high school students)

Liked: Breakfast was worth paying, it was really good. Room and bathroom were good and clean.

Disliked: Internet was a bit expensive.

Liked: Clean, large rooms, overall helpful staff, great kitchen facilities, free sheets and towels, good location

Disliked: Sometimes a bit loud, and a 20 euro deposit just to use a hairdryer is a pain, just trust me that I'll bring it back!

Liked: Friendly, helpful staff. Clean rooms and bathrooms. Nice facility. Good location, right by a busy/ central ubahn station with many trams and metro connections.

Disliked: wifi was a little slow and you have to pay .50cents (euro) for around 15min of computer use. Also, the washer and dryer were never available bc only one washer worked, but... All in all I would stay there again. Cheers!

Liked: The bar in the basement, the rooms are quite nice (although a bit dark because of the low-energy bulps) and lockers you can close with your card.

Liked: Great staff and lounge, large eating area/kitchen.

Disliked: WiFi only in the lobby is a huge pain, more so when there are limited plug ins for power. also wombats often hosts large groups and is a party hostel before a travelers hostel, keep this in mind before booking.

Liked: Free pasta and rice was a nice touch. Like the bar. Close to train station and transport.

Disliked: Not so close to center.

Liked: Looked very clean, convenient bar, warm bedding, lockers and excellent breakfast. Close to the train station.

Disliked: Far away from downtown (a couple subway stops), and i got bitten by some bugs. Was traveling with a friend who had no problems. No paper towels or hand soap in the bathrooms.

Liked: It was within easy walking distance of the train station. The kitchen was the best I've seen in a hostel, with free pasta and plenty of utensils. The bar in the hostel was also really good and made it easy to meet people during our stay. The staff here were also really friendly.

Disliked: The wi-fi was down a lot during our stay - not really the hostel's fault though, the staff did offer use of computers as well. Also, the breakfast wasn't free.

Liked: Can't say enough good things about Wombat's. If I were going anywhere near Berlin or Munich I would book them immediatley, no question. I plan to recommend this hostel to as many friends as I can.

Disliked: Honestly, the only thing I can think of is if they had hand soap in the bathrooms. That's it. Great place to stay.

Liked: Great facilities, good breakfast and wombar makes it easy to meet people

Disliked: the wifi connection dropped in and out a lot and it wasn't the cleanest place.

Liked: This was a great hostel-- one of the most secure I've seen. The staff was great, the bar was awesome, and the beds were really comfortable. Also, the shower was one of the best I've had in weeks! The location is close to the train station and the metro and tram lines. The prices for drinks and food at the hostel bar were unbeatable-- it was amazing. Also, the cost of laundry was the cheapest I've encountered in a hostel (4.50 Euro for wash AND dry)!

Disliked: It felt a bit like a college student's wet dream-- full of loud drunk people. It's not necessarily bad, but it could get a bit annoying...especially when you're trying to sleep. Just make sure that you're one of the loud drunk people- then they won't bother you. Don't stay here if you're looking for a quiet, more reserved place.
