Liked: The staff were some of the most helpful people I have ever met in a hotel. If I could give the place an amazing score, I would.

Disliked: I honestly cannot think of anything I did not like.

Liked: I definitely liked the fun and easy-going atmosphere of the place, as well as the helpfulness of the staff and the various facilities they had (such as lockers, a kitchen, etc.)

Disliked: The internet connection could be a bit better, also, it would be more convenient if we could use the internet from our rooms

Liked: I liked that the rooms were very clean, staff were around all the time if you needed help with anything. Free towels were great.

Disliked: It was more of a hotel with dormitories than a hostel to me. It was really hard to meet others there, it had more of an individual rather than a communal feel to it. Also the breakfast was expensive and wasn't that great.

Liked: Lots of room, clean and had a great location - close to large train station

Disliked: Its not really a hostel to go to if you looking to meet other travelers, there were a lot of older people and large groups staying. I also think as they have free wi-fi the least they could do is make the internet free to use on the computers they have!

Liked: Very fun atmosphere, clean, nice rooms, nice place to hang out

Disliked: The staff was fairly busy at times and you had to pay to use the computers, and breakfast was not included

Liked: This place is fantastic! I liked that there was an all-you-can-eat breakfast for only 3.70 Euros, a chill-out area where everyone can just lie down and relax, many computers available. The rooms are very private as well - 4 to a room, and only accessable by card access, which gave me a really secure feeling. The best thing was that each bed was equipped with power sockets! There was no need for the person sleeping on the top bed to hassle and try to plug in his chargers at the bottom bed. Overall, a fantastic hostel experience.

Disliked: The wifi service was only available at the lounge area and not in the rooms. Access can get really slow, when there are alot of people using the computers and laptops.

Liked: We enjoyed our stay at Wombat's pretty much and found everything about this hostel to be perfect! Strongly recommend!

Liked: staff was very nice. Very accommodating to travelers waiting for their room as well as those who have already checked out. Very close to Wesbanhof station. Only a 3 minute walk. Very safe. Each person has his/her own locker in the rooms and the luggage room is secure with cctv.

Disliked: the internet is ridiculously slow.

Liked: Impressive facilities! Public areas are clean as it can be and the lounge area is amazing. Even if indeed it is not right into or besides the inner city centre, you can get there (or many other places) by U-Bahn, S-Bahn or bus really quickly. Otherwise, if you felt like it, you can walk all the way down (about 15-25 mins)

Disliked: One of the guys that checked me in didn't seem very happy to receive somebody. The rooms are not clean properly even if the rest it is so at a high standard.

Liked: great place! front desk staff were very friendly/helpful. place was clean and well kept. towels/linens/wi-fi all included. you have your own locker in your room to store valuables. bar was a bit small, but drinks were cheap and bar staff (which seemed to change nightly) were awesome! i never ate in the restaurant so i can't comment on that. i will be staying with Wombats again, and definitely recommend this place to others!

Liked: very friendly staff. and i did met some really nice people as well. great location - very convenient for those who travels by train. and, nice breakfast and great restaurant around :D p.s. map they provide is EXTREMELY useful!!!

Disliked: wifi signal not very stable and only available in the common area. would be great if it is available in individual rooms. the map they provide is a bit tough for finding directions, despite the great usefulness

Liked: They have everything you expect of a hostel including secure rooms, a well-sized bar, and descently helpful staff.

Disliked: If you are a traveler who likes to meet people, this place may be too large to feasibly meet others. Unless you get a room that has other solo travelers or small groups, the environment in the hostel seemed to be more for groups of travelers to stay at and enjoy the facilities. Apart from that though, it's good for a larger hostel.

Liked: Totally recommend this hostel - VERY clean and ensuite washrooms, full kitchen, nice dining room, clean and good bedding. The location is also very convenient, 2 minutes away from the metro and you can use it to go to every one of the major sights in Vienna. Would totally stay here again if I have the chance to come back!

Disliked: None, except maybe the wifi only works in main lobby area, but it's a minor problem
