Liked: The bathroom is good, clear, there is a normal size kitchen.

Disliked: The room wasn't clean however there is an extra fee (15 €) for cleaning.

Liked: Nothing. We had somewhere to sleep, but that's about all we could be grateful for.

Disliked: Most everything. We waited for 3 hours in the entrance to the apartment building, calling a phone which went straight to voicemail. We walked up to the apartment, no one answered any of the doors. By chance, we met the owner of the building who took pity on us and started calling around - 3 listed numbers for this lady were either disconnected or went straight to voicemail. He eventually knocked on the apartment door enough times to get someone to open it, spoke to the girl in German (who spoke little English), she told us the landlady had gone to Russia and is unreachable but we could have a room. The room was not the green room we had booked - it was the 'extra' bedroom which consisted of nothing more than a bunk-bed. We had no window, so no natural light or ventilation, and our room was next to another bedroom, separated by a locked door, where a man was smoking constantly and the smoke would waft straight in our room. The girl, somewhat in charge, claimed she didn't know anything, people weren't allowed to smoke inside. On our second night, we arrived to the apartment to find another couple in the exact same situation we were in the night before. We explained to them how the place was run and luckily they went to find somewhere else, as there didn't seem to be room for them. When we checked if there was an empty room in the apartment, we found the supposed 'green room' and it seemed to be occupied by the girl working for the landlady. This place is not worth the hassle, it's not even cheap or close to the city centre. Do anything you can to not end up here - all other places were either way too expensive or booked when we began looking for alternative options after our 3 hour wait. Definitely do not want someone else to experience this - Vienna is beautiful, stay somewhere beautiful.

Liked: cheap, kitchen, wifi, tv; some people said the owner is not friendly, as I saw the lady might not speak very well English, but she tried her best to me, even she does not smile a lot, but for a private apartment, that's not a big deal

Liked: We stayed in the 'red room', although we booked the green one. This place is not a normal hotel, but a room in an apartment, and the owner lives in the same apartment, one room next door. We didn't see her during our stay, she keeps to her own apartment. She was not very friendly to us. One great disadvantage of this room was that one of the beds mattresses is really bad. You feel the metal bed-frame when you are laying on the mattress.I woke up next days with my back hurting.

Liked: Very nice and quiet atmosphere. You can feel youself as at home. Big supermarket near by and 5 min to metro station by bus or S-train stop in walking distance. towels+staffed kithen.

Liked: On hostelbookers I have booked the green room for 2 nights and got confirmation on my email. But when me and my boyfriend arrived to the apartment the lady said she had already given the green room to somebody else because they came 1 night before us. Just like that, how unprofessional. Then she offered us this amazingly undersized room with bunk beds, the only one that was not occupied. Of course we wanted some discount and she offered we can move to the green room on the second night and we dont have to pay 15 EUR for cleaning - extra cost that was not mentioned on hostelbookers. Because we were too tired to search for new accommodation we agreed on that. And about the free parking - in front of the block there is enough of free parking, it is just really hard to get one. But there is plenty of payable parking for 5 EUR per hour. Otherwise the apartment is very clean, location ok and the green room really nice.

Liked: The lady waited in the appartment for us for 2 hours after our intitial scheduled arrival time to check us in. Didn't inform us beforehand that they would need cash only luckily we had some with us. We used the washing machine which was great for travellers with no other infrastructure on hand. The kitchen was well equipted and clean. The area is not great but passable.

Liked: Very nice description of where to go and what to do once you arrive in Vienna until the time you reach the apartment. The room was quite big and the kitchen in the apartment was really helpful.

Liked: Know that this hostel, is not a hostel. It is a private apartment with three rooms. The two actual bedrooms are beautiful and meticulously clean. However, beware that the third 'extra room' is tiny, and is basically just a bed (in which you can touch all four walls from). If you can book the other two rooms, I would reccomdend this apartment without reservation. The landlady is slight rude, but her husband is fantastic.
