Liked: It was a really well organized place. Excellent location right next to an underground station and shops, etc. still so quiet at night -> no problems to sleep. Only 6 minutes to Stefansplatz by U-bahn. Clean and comfortable.

Disliked: Some clients of the hostel don´t understand that the doors make loud noise, if you´re not careful with closing them. That disturbs sleeping clients in the night. But this is not the hostel´s fault...

Liked: Break-feast. Awesome value for money. All that you would expect from a great hostel. Hugely helpful staff. Clean. Comfortable. Metro within 100m

Disliked: Felt like it needed a common room of sorts, even though there as quite a nice bar area with seating.

Liked: Dorms are really clean and beds are comfortable. The staffs are really friendly and it is really value for money in a expensive city like Vienna. Highly recommended.

Liked: good location - near metro stop - so easy to get into town if you buy a daily or 48 hr public transport pass. had a kitchen - pretty good by european standards. 2 toilets in the room was great!! never had to wait to use the bathroom!!

Liked: Not far from the subway which provides easy access to the city center

Disliked: There were several school groups here which took over the hostel and made it a terrible experience for everyone else. They were loud constantly, stayed up late and woke up early. Non stop door slamming made it nearly impossible to sleep here. The front desk also provided a key to someone who wasn't staying in our room so they could walk in at 430am to 'check' on us... Not a pleasant stay at all

Liked: All of the staff was awesome!!! the front desk man named Johannes was just so nice and helpful!! Definitely a great place to stay overall and plan on staying at different branches of the Meninger in the future.

Disliked: the only bad thing about the meninger hotel in vienna, was that it was right next to a strip club but the metro stop being so close kinda balanced that out.

Liked: The rooms themselves were keen and spacious and the price was definitely reasonable. The staff were great and actually provided some consolation when I encountered problems and so they were nearly rectified.

Disliked: Everything there cost more on top of what we paid initially. "Free" internet connection was rubbish, it was so slow it wasn't even worth using which made it vey hard to book further accommodation and make any important travel transactions.

Liked: Reasonably close to the main station but not too far from the centre. Extremely helpful and friendly owner. The room was spotless and very large making it great value for money.

Liked: Very clean, very friendly english speaking staff, decent restaurant and bar, Wifi is free in the lounge area

Disliked: Quite commercial, no alcohol allowed other than that boguht from the own bar, no kitchen facilites so forced to use kitchenm, location isnt great

Liked: It was modern, clean and had a good atmosphere. Easy to meet people.

Disliked: Nothing to dislike. It was a bit further from the train station than some of the other places I stayed on my trip but it was easy to get to on the underground and it was possible to walk into town.

Liked: it is very clean and it is in a very good place, just 20 steps from the underground

Disliked: the shower door was broken and i complained but it wasnt repaired. it is not a very funny place, its more like familiy place. and it is not clear on the website that breakfast is not included

Liked: The good staff, the rooms, the lobby, the game zone. It was close to a supermarket. The quality/price.

Disliked: You have to take the metro to go to the center. The kitchen hasn-t suficient plates and fires and it was a mess, and bad ventilated.

Liked: Easy to find off the tram, pretty clean, nice new-ish rooms, modern, helpful staff,

Disliked: Very big, so lacks the personality you find in lots of hostels in europe, but then it is a chain. Big charge for breakfast, but there is a bakery and supermarket around the corner, so dont bother with their breakfast.

Liked: A very clean and fun hostel. Great atmosphere and incredibly helpful staff. Bike hire is very cheap and a fantastic way to see the city in a short space of time. Would definitely recommend

Liked: A clinical feeling large hostel. A cheap bed to stay in whilst visiting vienna, the breakfast is just about worth the extra money. The hostel lacks charm and character, but the staff are helpful, the rooms clean and not too pricey.
