Liked: We paid 18 euro for 6 bed dorm and was put in a 4 bed dorm. The first night we had it to ourselves which was a real treat! own ensuite. Pizzas are cheap and yum, wines cheap! The bar was really fun!

Disliked: after coming from smaller hostels we noticed the difference compared to larger hostel. We had to ask staff for things to do and see. They checked us in by giving us key and that was all. We had to do our own research etc.

Liked: in short, clean, safe, convninient and entertaining.

Disliked: a bit more far from the metro than i presumed.

Liked: It was easy to find from the subway. Also it had lockers which is good for your valuables. After you check out the staff are happy to keep your luggage until your leave the city for your next destination

Disliked: Restaurants surrounding this area were not value for money, often a little more expense for something of poor standard also there was nothing but kebab eating areas. All the sights and good things to do in vienna was a little 2 subways away.

Liked: Facilities, bar, rooms. I would definitevely go back to this hostel. fully recommendable.

Disliked: Staff is helpfull and correct, but they tend to reccomend services asociated with the hostel (i.e. bike rental)

Liked: Not too far from the main train station and so the underground as well. Wombar lives up to its reputation, with drinking games etc which are always a laugh. Cheap beer and clean rooms.

Disliked: Staff at reception aren´t overlz friendly and when I got there the kitchen was closed for refurbishment but I wasn´t told about it when I checked in and there was no replacement.

Liked: Really modern with good amenities. Fantastic staff, really friendly and helpful.

Liked: Lots of facilites, nice decor, cheap bar.

Disliked: kitchen was quite small for the amount of guests.

Liked: Clean safe place, good bar to meet people at. Optional breakfast is good.

Disliked: Had to pay as you go on the computers. A little far from the centre.

Liked: The atmosphere and the place were good. I really enjoyed my stay there. The girls staff were very kind and helpful. I was there alone, but I would like to come back with my friends!!!! Also, in your first day, they give you a beverage free in their bar (coffe, beer or wine).

Disliked: The location. It is near from the station, but a quite difficult to find.

Liked: nice bed, friendly staffs. Location is also good, 5 - 10 min. walking to the Vienna Western train station and is close to a big shopping street.

Liked: It was very hot in the upper floors...good bar. If you're not here in the summerheat and have a room in the 5th or 6tj floor its a good hostel. Young crowd

Liked: Great place. Wombat is certainly always great. Booked a 6 bed dorm for 4 people, and they changed us to a 4 bed dorm at the same price. However, if Wombat lounge is available, it is much nearer to Westbahnhof, shops and etc. from there. An advise for staying at wombat base is to take the U3 to SchweglerstraBe, walk downhill, cross the bridge to Wombat Base. (Perhaps you can try this route while going to the metro station, instead of walking back to Westbahnhof)

Disliked: The location was a let down.
