Liked: The atmosphere at this hostel was awesome with the bar down stairs and good deals on food and drink. It encouraged the hostel guests to all mingle together and socialise. The staff were absolutely amazing. So helpful and never short or impatient with the million of tourist questions that they probably get hundreds of times daily.

Disliked: It was overall very good but a little more kitchen equipment would have been convenient so we could make our own meals. Also maybe tea and coffee available. That seems to be a trend with other hostels now days. But honestly loved me time here. Thanks

Liked: Great atmosphere in the bar at night, friendly staff, handy location. Also I accidentally booked for the 25-28th when I meant to book for the 26-29th and didn't realise until I turned up, but they didn't charge me any extra, which was very nice!

Disliked: Could be better value and maybe the wombats hostel closer to westbahnhof would be better location-wise.

Liked: Nice bar and common room type area, friendly staff, really clean bathrooms.

Disliked: We found it really pricey considering virtually nothing is thrown in with the room. You have to pay for breakfast, and internet. Wifi only works in the lobby. It just seemed a bit extortionate considering you were paying £20 a night for just a bed. Not exactly 'budget backpacker accomodation' as it claims. Other than that, no complaints.

Liked: Simply an Awesome Hostel. Lots of fun, clean, secure and in the downtown. We loved our stay. Highly recommend and it is as described.

Disliked: Everything was fine. Happiness is up to you.

Liked: The place was really nice and the staff were really nice and helped me look up times for performances and held my laptop etc. A cool colourful place. Noisy bar but couldn't hear it from the fourth floor.

Disliked: The en suite in our room had paper thin walls, but I guess it was nice to have one at all.

Liked: I really loved the atmosphere of this hostel, plus the rooms were very clean. The biggest plus was that I was allowed to rest in my room at 7am after a night train to Wien!

Disliked: Nothing at all.

Liked: Fun, cheap and close to train station. Has a bar, so easy to meet people.you get a free drink voucher on arrival.

Liked: The lockers in the rooms are a good size and the breakfast (3.70 euro) is great. The bathrooms were very clean and there are cheap drinks at the bar.

Disliked: There is no kitchen (you can use the other Wombat hostel's kitchen which is about 10 min walk away). There is no air con in the rooms so if you have the window open, you also have the bar noise (which was really lothe wifiud). There is no common area except for the bar, we were there when 2 contiki groups stayed so it was probably far noisier than it would normally be.

Liked: very clean place, easy to find, hearty breakfasts and free wifi

Disliked: it's a big hostel so no "family atmosphere", wifi only in the lobby

Liked: This hostel was fantastic. A very lively, fun, party place to meet loads of people and have a great time! The staff were extremely helpful and friendly, the rooms were clean and spacious, the showers were also very good as was the location from the train station. If you want a great party atmosphere and to meet new people, this is the place for you!

Liked: It was conveniently located from a main train station as well as a major palace, both of them within walking distance. Bathrooms and toilets are en suite and were kept clean with hot running water. Sheets and beds were clean. Internet available only downstairs but no biggie. Overall, good value for money.

Disliked: Nothing! It was good value for money

Liked: Wombats is a great combination of Hostel and Hotel. It's very big, but manages to retain the friendly intimacy of a smaller place - mainly due to the hostel bar. The beds were comfortable, and the breakfast definitely worth the money.

Disliked: Nothing I can really remember.
