The House:
The house was built in 1805. The rooms are small and simple. They have laminated floors, a small kitchen-corner, shower & toilet. There is a washing machine and dryer for all guests, it works with 8x -1€-coins. (Actually out of service, unfortunately!) A cheap public phone shop with an internet-cafe is just around the corner.
Environmental Contribution:
We use only "GREEN ELECTRICTY" - WATER, WIND, SOLAR, BIOMASS - Energy - no Coal, no Fuel, no Atomic Energy. We HEAT only with NATURAL GAS, no coal, no fuel.
Please note:
Please do NOT expect FUN in the house. What you can expect is accommodation in a quiet, safe area close to the city center!
If you feel that you bored inside the house, you are well advised to try opportunities that are nearby. There is fun all around you! Going out at day and night recommendations: these relaxing and fun places are reachable within only 10 minutes walk from our house:

Nearest Garden: Augarten, 5 minutes walking distance, interests there: Augarten Porcellain Factory, Vienna's Boys Choir. It is Viennas oldest baroque garden and it was the 1st garden to be opened to the public allready in 1775!

We do not have a reception desk. The house is accessible only for guests who are handed the keys. We do not have any staff for answering questions. Contact via phone is not possible, except for SMS!
"Guided Arrivals" are possible:
Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday - 15:00 p.m. - 19:00 p.m.
Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday - 09:00 a.m. - 19:00 p.m.
let us know your time of arrival and we will wait for you at the stipulated time and let you in.
"SELF ENTRIES" are possible:
Everyday: 19:00p.m. - 24:00 p.m.
IMMEDEATELY AFTER THE BOOKING PLEASE DO SEND AN EMAIL TO GET EXPLANATIONS ON HOW TO ENTER YOURSELF. PLEASE PROVIDE YOUR VALID EMAILADRESS AND PHONENUMBER FOR SMS-RECEIPT, SO THAT WE CEN SEND YOU INSTRUCTIONS ON HOW TO GET IN.
Accommodation is always cleaned and should be ready to move in by 17:00 pm at the latest. Before this time you can leave your luggage in the apartment and take the keys.
Accommodations shall be left by 10:00 a.m. on the day of departure. Please leave the keys in the apartment when you leave.
We don’t take credit cards. Payment is upon arrival, with cash €
SELFENTRY AT CHRISMAS!!!
at December 23rd, 24th, 25th, 26th, 27th there is SELFENTRY ONLY! Payment may be deducted from your credit card!
LATE BOOKINGS:
Late bookings have a fixed time for arrival: 19:00. If you have booked only 24 hours prior to arrival, we will wait for you at 19:00 pm and you must ring the phone number displayed in the window beside the door at IM WERD 5 at 19:00pm!!. Please consider this when booking.
The AUSTRIAN HOTEL CONTRACT CONDITIONS (ÖHVB) apply.
CANCELLATION POLICY:
Cancellations shall be made via E-MAIL to the hostel.
Cancellations can be made up to 1 WEEK PRIOR TO ARRIVAL. If you cancel later than this we are entitled to charge you for 3 nights. If your reservation is shorter than 3 nights we will charge you for the amount of the booked stay. For no-shows or not staying in the booked accommodation the same applies accordingly. We recommend a holiday-insurance covering cancellation-risk.
Football-Masters June 2008 CANCELLATION POLICY:
In June 2008: 01.06-30.06 A CANCELLATION MAY BE MADE UP TO 2 MONTHS PRIOR TO ARRIVAL. IF YOU CANCEL LATER THAN THIS, WE ARE ENTITLED TO CHARGE FOR THE WHOLE STAY. For no-shows or not staying in the booked accommodation the same applies accordingly. We recommend a holiday-insurance covering cancellation-risk.
NEW YEARS CANCELLATION POLICY:
AT NEW YEARS: 25.12-6.1 A CANCELLATION MAY BE MADE UP TO 1 MONTH PRIOR TO ARRIVAL. IF YOU CANCEL LATER THAN THIS, WE ARE ENTITLED TO CHARGE FOR THE WHOLE STAY. GROUP-BOOKINGS:
If you book more than 1 apartment, we are entitled to charge your credit card immediately for the whole amount booked. Cancellation of group-bookings has to be made 1 month prior to arrival.
