The Alpenhotel Speckbacher Hof can look back on a long tradition. 1753 erected as a farmer house under the original name "Koandl", lead by several owners. Standing out is the leadership by the tradition-loving family Mayr which lasted more than 70 years. Since November 2003 the Alpenhotel Speckbacher Hof, named after the freedom fighter Josef Speckbacher, leadership has been assigned to the family Andreas Hofmann.
