Close the the station, friendly people but don't forget to order the breakfast the evening before, even though the staff promises that it is no problem the next morning. It is:)

Location quite reasonable, 10mins between both train station and old town. Good simple continental buffet breakfast. Free internet on 2 computers (plus wireless access). Friendly staff. Not much 'character', but it's a hotel rather than a hostel. Completely adequate.

We booked 2 triple rooms at this hotel. Whilst room No. 13 on the first floor was great with a newly refurbished bathroom, the other room on the top floor only had one sky light which didn't open. The Italian staff were friendly and there was a good selection of food available from the breakfast buffett.
