Liked: The staff was very friendly! Breakfast was good and had good variety to mix it up everyday. Negative: when they say "youth" they really mean it. I don't know if there were field trips or what, but every night there seemed to be about 30-40! teenagers wandering without supervision. They could get kind of rowdy, but that was the only downfall.

Liked: it was really close to the fortress and most tourist attractions. takes ages to get checked in, seriously understaffed at reception. nice breakfast.

Liked: well,it was like a hotel,actually-with a fantastic breakfast,very well organised,many things to do and people solving problems right away.one of the best hostels i ever been and very close to altstadt.my next visit to salzburg will definitely be thre again.

Liked: Nice big lobby. Problem: not enough plugs & far away from the station, it's not a walking distance and if you need to travel during the night, there are no buses.

Liked: Fantastic breakfast. Very clean, amazing common areas. You can get an all you can eat dinner for 6.80euros which had schintzel,beef stew, roast potatoes and vegetable, huge salad bar, drinks and fruit and cream for desert, well worth the money. Very much a family orientated place, which is fine but not so much a party atmosphere.

Liked: Great atmosphere with internet area, a bar and restaurant and patio area. Hostel was very clean and good location. Breakfast was definately worth the money-excellent variety of choice. Staff very helpful and had lots of info. Expensive hostel however as expected in Austria but eveything else expensive too eg drinks, internet and food.Good place to meet other travellers and bathrooms well equipped and clean.Would reccomend this hostel to other travellers!

Liked: The guesthouse was better than described. The facilities were excellent and the whole stay very enjoyable and excellent value for money. Highly recommended.

Liked: The bathrooms and showers were very well equipped, I felt nearly luxurious for the type of facility. Everything was perfectly clean, staff was helpful and fluent in English. The included breakfast had a rich selection of very well made foods.

Liked: The place was clean, breakfast was good. The only bad point was that one of the staff was very slow and kinda ignorant, which gave me a bad impression.

Liked: Overall great house. Nice staff and close to the city of Salzburg. Comfy lounge to chill. Also broad offer of tours in and around the city.

Liked: Breakfast was extremely good. Completely understaffed though.Took 2 hours to check in. We waited 40 minutes to ask simple questions. Staff will look at you and go and sit down at the back. Appalling staff numbers.

Liked: WUDNT ADVISE THE IRISH OR BRITS 2 GET CARRIED AWAY WITH ALL THE "DEADLY BREKFAST" REVIEWS, ITS EUROPEAN BREAKFAST AND WASNT GREAT! WELL LOCATED THOUGH..... JUST TRY AND GET EVERYTHING YA CAN WHEN YA GO 2 THE DESK BECAUSE THE QUEUE USUALLY TAKES A GOOD WHILE

Liked: Was a nice hostel overall - beds were comfortable and breakfast was great! Lots on offer. The showers were not so good, too much pressure and too hot, so don't stay for all that long if you want to be clean. Location is excellent, in walking distance from almost everything. Hostel is very big so not excellent for meeting other travelers.

Liked: The breakfast was decent as was the dinner if you remember to get a ticket and eat between 6-7.30pm. but that is not signposted anywhere so sometimes you find out the hard way

Liked: This place is kid heaven. There were a billion boy scouts running around the place and they liked to play games in the hallways until about 12am. Not a bad place though.
