 As far as Salzburg is concerned, you don't have a lot of choice with Hostels. This one is within walking distance of the town, and offers a fair bit at the hostel - cheap meals, the Sound of Music played in the bar at night, a bar and a few amenities. The place is usually overrun by school groups and young children, but you won't find much else in Salzburg for the same price.

I liked everything abt the hostel.. the shower and the breakfast were great.. the rooms are very secure and well maintained.. it is also not very far off from the airport and locating the hostel was very easy.. overall a wonderful experience :) .. if i get a chance to go back i would stay in the same hostel for sure :)

They had lockers out in front of the rooms that you could use to lock up your belongings during the day for free.
The place was really open and even though it was really hot while we were there, our room felt cool at night and was comfortable.

very well run, fantastic location, the room had everything we needed. They played the Sound of Music every night which was fab! Had a good breakfast, the staff were helpful and knowledgeable, a great choice for a weekend break! Although would definitely get an ensuite though rather than a dorm, they were pretty noisy.

the staff were very helpful, on the 1st night we had lots of noise coming from the kids in the dorms, so they moved us to a quieter area of the hostel, löcation was good, good breakfast

It's in perfect conditions, very clean and recent, the Breakfast is awsome. It's also very close to the city center, and has parking spaces in case you brought a car :D

Nice hostel. Its a bit more of a family place than a youth hostel, but you get that from the name. They had a lot to offer, but not the best if you are looking for a meet and greet kind of place with a bunch of young people

The rooms are very comfortable!! Though u have to go through an isolated lane if u arrive at late hours like I did, u almost instantly see a crowd of young ppl...........

WE had a family room, it was very new and clean and suprisingly had a TV!! Breakfast was good. Everyone helpful. The only problem we had was locating it. Needs a better sign.
