Liked: I like the atmosphere of the hostel. It is really a great place for us to have fun and meet people. Moreover, I love the breakfast provided. There are many choices and they really taste nice.

Liked: Great location. Did not feel that the security of luggage was good on the day we checked out. Anyone was able to access the key to the luggage closet without any question as to whether or not they needed access. Nothing was stolen, but we all felt security was lacking. The place was very noisy at night.

Liked: Close to the old town, offers tons of activities & facilities (eg. bike rental, plays Sound of Music, etc), can buy lunch & dinner there (breakfast is included), inexpensive.

Liked: The hostel is very well located. The staff was very kind, despite being very busy. The rooms are nice and clean. The bathrooms could be a little cleaner however the hotel was completely full due to the fact that a lot of people stayed in Salbsburg to go to Munich for the World Cup. I didn't enjoyed the night life there cause I was also going to Munich early in the morning. But there was some nice music I don't know from where.

Liked: It is a short walk from the beautiful city center, and the grounds have a nice view of the castle, as do some of the rooms. The place is huge, so enjoyment of the facilities is somewhat affected by which room you get. Ask for one above ground with a view of the city and you will love it.

Liked: It was a very friendly place to be with many helpful staff. Being able to hire bikes was great and we wnet on many great excursions with advice from staff. It was a thoroughly good hostel - good food too! The Sound of Music video was goo too. Great place!

Liked: The hostel cancelled my booking directly without notifying me! The staff were extremely unfriendly to me and Austrians seem to be very proud of themselves and therefore it is NEVER their fault. I don't like their attitude. Cancel my reservation without any sorry words! Unbelievable!

Liked: WAY TOO SMOKEY!!! WAY TOO MANY LITTLE KIDS RUNNING AROUND AND SCREAMING!!! It was annoying to have lockers outside of the room.
