Very nice family room and it had a deep tub to soak in ahhh! We could get to town in 5 minutes in our car, a bit tougher by bus. Close to airport and the breakfast was good and filling. The owner was very helpful with planning outings.

The warm hospitality, the homely atmosphere, good location, well connect by local transport, scenic view from the room, excellent, clean room. Very good breakfast and personalised attention.

It was very clean and it was helpful to have any tours booked for us by Frau Kernstock. It was a little bit out of town but on a good tram service. Not sure if Hostelbookers was promoted at the hostel

The hostess is very nice. the place has a great view and is very peaceful. it makes you feel like at home. ohh and is very clean! i reallyyyyy like it

After confirming approx. time of arrival, no one was home, it is miles from anywhere and 5 hours until the owner was going to arrive. A neighbour rang her and she let us in. It was hot and we were very tired.

Price is excellent, location is good, close to airport but not noisy, close to bus stops for number 2 trolley bus into city centre. Very clean. Breakfast is very basic, but as a base its ideal and well priced.

Frau Kernstock was very helpful and nice, and the rooms were comfortable. While the hostel was a ways from Salzburg, there are 2 busses that are nearby and not difficult to get to.

She never told us a checkout time until the day we were leaving at breakfast and said it was once we'd finished breakfast. Also I don't think she's there all the time cos I rang the bell about 8 and a boy answered and said she'd be back tomorrow. A couple of the tour buses pick up outside the hostel and drop at the big bus which was good. Breakfast is just toast and tea/coffee. I had an amazing view out of my window. Oh and the TV was cool, however the sound doesn't work on MTV which was highly gutting. But yeah it was a nice place. she also let us know about a festival happening. Also liked how we had our own keys for the front door.
