Liked: We enjoyed the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff. The room we had was clean and quiet and the grounds were beautiful as well.

Disliked: I think the only dislike we had with the place was just location, it was a short walk to the center with no problem but trying to catch a bus to the airport with many bags and a baby was a little not as fun.

Liked: The staff is awesome! I spent a lovely weekend there. The most stunning thing is the beautiful garden just outside the hostel - you can have a coffee in the morning in such a peaceful surrounding! Would definitely stay there again.

Liked: Nothing. We booked a 4 bedroom dorm and when we arrived we all got split up into 3 different rooms but still payed the same price. They said they where at full capacity and that we only booked a bed even though my print out said 4 bed dorm. One of the rooms door handle kept falling of so we didnt want to lock it in case that happened. Theres only 1 key to each room which you have to get from reception everytime you want to enter your room which is really annoying. My partner was told that all the keys for his room were given out so to knock on the door and hope someone was awake to let him in. The kitchen was not big enough for the amount of people staying there. The showers were clean but thats the only thing i liked about this hostel i would not stay again.

Liked: Staff are young almost student age, relaxed and up for a laugh! Very good facilities, everything you could need. The organised BBQ and pub crawl were both good, and we personally met loads of great people!

Disliked: The building is a bit large and lacking in character. Not exactly cozy. No soap in bathrooms.

Liked: Staff were amazing - friendly and helpful - and it is very safe.

Disliked: My only criticism is that it's a little far from the centre of the city.

Disliked: Check-in starts at 2pm, but they change shifts at 3 pm, so prepare for a long wait when you check-in

Liked: Price was good for Salzburg. BBQ outside on some evenings. Movies played in common room (the pianist was on one evening when we were there)

Disliked: Internet didn't work (seems like long term rather than short term problem) they don't let you rent towels instead you have to buy them for 3 euro each - they're the size of a hand towel! a bit far from town and a bit far from the bus stop when you're arriving/ leaving with your bags.

Liked: I loved that it was located right outside of the city center. I could easily walk into town (ten minutes) or walk out into the hills.

Disliked: Nada.

Liked: Clean and tidy. Workers there did everything they could to make up for faulty facilities (no Internet & laundry)

Disliked: Quite far away from centre of town. Unlike how it is advertised it DOES NOT have Internet/wifi. Also on our visit all laundry facilities seemed to be out of order- Not good when that's exactly the reason you chose this hostel!

Liked: The bathroom was nice, and I appreciate the free muffin. Also, we were grateful that we were able to cancel the second night without any additional fees.

Disliked: When we stayed, the internet was down and none of the staff knew how to fix it. Additionally, my room light was behaving strangely, not turning on at times and flashing on suddenly in the middle of the night. I went to the front desk but there was little they could do to help me. Also, my bed sheets were quite dirty and my travel partner's bed made horribly loud creaking noises every time he moved. Compared to the other hostels I've stayed in throughout Europe, this was not as great, especially for the price.

Disliked: A little bit fare away of city center, 3 bed ensuites to small for three persons, if you should spent a little more time in the hostel.

Liked: Bathrooms were fairly clean.

Disliked: They always came up with excuses in response to the simplest questions or requests at the reception. It took half an hour to wait for a key to get back into a room because they were preoccupied with another customer at the reception, and did not have the practical sense of just passing us the key from the locker during the many opportunities where the customer was busy filling out forms and such. They also made excuses as to why the hostel did not have internet or laundry service even though they advertised on their website it did. Also, they did not give the 10% discount that was promised on the pamphlet. The worst part of it all was, on the night that we checked in (we checked in around 2:00 PM during the day), when we made our way back to the hostel from dinner, they questioned us as to whether we actually have a room and live in the hostel and accused us that we did not pay the full amount (which we had done in cash, during check-in a few hours earlier). The staff was completely clueless and disorganized as to what was going on at the hostel. They had almost next to no information about Salzburg (even things like touristic information, exchange offices, restaurants to eat at). The administration aspect of the hostel was the worst we've seen in the 10 or so countries we've travelled through this summer.

Liked: yes, it is very nice. through it is a little bit far away from city centre, the atmosphere is really nice, the place is clean and the room is big.

Liked: The breakfast was good.

Disliked: We had to wait for a long time every time we wanted to get our key, buy breakfast coupons etc. from the staff at the reception.

Liked: It's in a pretty location 20 minutes from the Altstadt.

Disliked: The staff was very unorganized and the internet was not working. There were people already in our room when we checked-in and the staff software was also down, which made everythig very difficult.

Liked: good atmosphere.

Disliked: really small rooms with a many beds. Noisy, common room and kitchen dirty, because I think cleaning lady is coming only on mornings, but people is many. Common kitchen really small too. Little space in the refrigerator. There was WIFI, but it was working only in common room and not always and there was only two computers. And no possibility pay with card only in cash. And localization is far from center :)

Liked: This is a pretty new hostel, so it was clean and nice. The staff was also helpful and the location was ok. The facilities were also good - kitchen was well equipped, there was a bbq and very nice garden. There is also a parking if you travel by car or any other vehicle:) The hostel itself is very spacious.

Disliked: We missed the coziness, it feels more like a boarding-school. It was also strange that nobody from the staff spoke German, however their English was very good and we had no problems with that. The room has everything one needs, but nothing more. We were 2 people in a 3-bedroom and the place was just enough - I guess it would have been pretty crowded for 3.
