Liked: It was a bed for one night so nothing fancy, had a kitchen to use and nice gardens surrounding it.

Disliked: They only have one computer to use and you can't upload your media onto it. Their wifi does NOT work on your own laptop, and they tell you to try this and that and it still doesn't work. The rooms were very small for three people, and there is only one key per room so you have to leave it at reception every time you are not in the room. Not value for money for 25 euros per night.

Liked: Likes: There was a kitchen and free internet, the bedrooms were big as was the bathrooms. The place is pretty clean in general.

Disliked: Dislikes: It's really out of the way, It has no character at all and feels like a hospital due to really big long halls, really echo-y and plain white (it is student accom most of the year and I feel bad for those students). What was really really annoying is that the kitchen has basically nothing in it! I was there 5 or 6 nights I think, and everyday things would disappear or appear but there was never adequate utensils (one fork) and crockery and the staff were aware but didnt do anything. Some staff were okay but others were really weird and some were pretty ignorant. There are only 2 computers and the wifi is only in the common room and lobby and doesnt work very well. The place is really spread out with the kitchen on one floor, the bathrooms on another rooms further still, and the halls are quite long so it's kind of annoying but not a huge deal. MAKE SURE YOU CALL OR EMAIL AFTER BOOKING AND MAKE SURE THEY HAVE YOU BOOKED IN! They screwed up some family's booking and basically didn't have a bed for them and the boss literally said "sorry, nothing I can do, Ive got other things to do so Im going to go" but the family were going crazy so he stayed but nothing had been sorter 3 hours later. AND we booked another of their chain of hostels called Alibi Hostel in Vienna through Muffin, and the same damn thing happened to us. AND that hostel was even worse, seriously dont go there. I wouldn't stay here again unless I really didn't have much choice.

Liked: Nice location just outside of the city- very pleasant surroundings and a nice big garden. Kitchen facilities were decent and rooms were clean. A really beautiful and helpful man at reception! Great advice on what to whilst in austria.

Disliked: Unusual room set up with the 3 bed dorms

Liked: I liked the kitchen facilities and the common room area. Also, the location wasn't too far out of the centre.

Disliked: I dislike the fact that the hostel advertises having internet access but the two computers that they do have never ever work! It's possibly the worst internet connection i've ever had to endure and you pretty much can't do anything on them which is frustrating.

Liked: they have private rooms available.

Disliked: it seems like its in the middle of no where in a residential area surrounded by country side, this means its a bit of a trek to get to the main town and from the train station where you need to take a long bus ride and then an even onger walk. the rooms were weird also, kind of like the brownie camps you go to as a kid. they were clean (ish) but definatly needed a spring clean to rejuvenate them.

Liked: really cheap, close to the center, nice people

Disliked: when arrived at 2pm, counter was closed, no way in. Entered through unlocked backdoor and took keys on own behalf. Anyone could've entered and taken the keys.

Liked: The location, staff and the hostel itself are wonderful. Very quiet. Enough space for everything. Good parking fasilities.

Disliked: Slow Internet connection. Lack of plates and glasses at the kitchen)

Disliked: i think the price was a little bit too high knowing that it was a temporary hostel only for the summer, in the rest of the year is a dormitory for students

Liked: Nice and quiet location. Big rooms, good beds, two desks and a lot of furniture. Bathroom was also good. The staff was really kind and helpful could give any information about the city.

Disliked: Maybe too loud key lockers and some people who were coming to sleep late made a noise. Also a drill in the morning was not a nice surprise.

Liked: Staff were really really helpful and very friendly and approachable. Rooms were nice and very clean and it was really good value for money. Location was ok, if you don:t mind walking a little bit.

Liked: It´s a good place to meet people IF you stay long or have low budget.

Disliked: Big kitchen, but few utencils. Not good for one night, since it´s distant from the city and easy to get lost. Small staff and not very helpful.

Liked: Once you get there it's easy to get into town, you can rent bikes, friendly staff who showed us what places we can visit.

Disliked: The price was too high for what was offered, the access to the internet was limited, there were 2 computers out of which only one was working properly and was taken most of the time. No coffee machine in the kitchen. No towels are offered to guests. It's the sort of place where you can live as a student but not to stay on vacation. For the same amount of money we had pleasant surprises elsewhere.

Liked: Location is good..about 10 minutes walking to center.Rooms were really clean equipped with new toilet and shower. Staff is friendly and helpful. When we came there, we were provided with detailed map and short "lecture" about most interesting places. Price is relevant to quality of this hostel.

Disliked: In Hostel is bar, but despite to fact that hostel was full, nobody was in bar.. there is so bad atmosphere.

Disliked: Walking to Old Town is quite a distance and it's totally a student hostel than backpackers.

Liked: It was the best price we could find in Salzburg - although I think it was still over priced for what it was.

Disliked: It was actually quite far out of the centre of town - the website advertises a 15 minute walk into the centre, which is fair, although since Salzburg is such a small place, this actually means it's quite far out compared to anything else. The location was quite isolated in a residential part of town, and I would not have liked to walk back there on my own at night. The staff were not very knowledgeable about Salzburg (one girl, after keeping us waiting for 30 mins when checking in at 8.30pm, told us that 'nothing' would be open for dinner after 9pm in Salzburg. We took a walk into town anyway, and found a great restaurant open almost immediately). The rooms were also very basic - to be expected at this low price, but it's still not the cheapest hostel I've stayed in, especially considering it's far out location.

Disliked: the location was a bit on the average side, but i didnt mind the pleasant 15min walk into the centre

Liked: The staff were amazing and so helpful and friendly! It's only a 20 minute walk from town which is good, but slightly tucked away at the same time! On arrival you fill out a form about what places you've been and plan to visit, if they have other hostels in the places you're visiting, they offer to book them for you with a 10% discount!!very handy indeed!

Disliked: Holly left no negative feedback.

Liked: It's close to the old town center, although there's a hill you need to get over in order to get there.

Disliked: You need to leave your room key at the reception when you go out. Not a huge deal, but someone might accidentally get the wrong room key (you just ask for whatever number you want), so perhaps a bit of a security risk.

Liked: The room and ensuites were very clean. There was 24 hr reception, which were very helpful and friendly! Its also a good distance from the centre of Salzburg - just a short walk.

Disliked: Wasn't a huge fan of the breakfast! It consisted of just bread and cereal - not really worth the 4 euro!
