The Kielhuberhof is located in the south of Ramsau, in the midst of the meadows and fields of our farm. Not only the ideal altitude of 1000 m and the location at the foot of the Dachstein, Styria's highest peak - where you have a wonderful view around the region - but also all the possibilities to do sports and enjoy leisure-time will contribute to your special holiday in Austria.
Two outdoor tennis courts with floodlight right beside the hotel can be used by our guests whenever they are in the mood for a match. Ask for a trainer if you want to improve your tennis skills.
For ball games we have a grass court outside. Football goal, volleyball and badminton net are available. And in the "Dachsteinstube" you can play ping pong and billiard.
Our little lake (400 qm) with its clear, natural water invites you to jump in! Swim and have a rest in the spacious garden with shadowy trees.
Coffee and tea, cold drinks as well as some home-made cakes can be enjoyed on our sunny terrace.
More relax you find in the Sauna, the solarium or the steambath. Massages on request.

How it looks inside
Dining-room...
The meals are served in our dining room. In the morning, for breakfast, we prepare a buffet for you. Choose whatever you like! In the evening we are serving a three-course dinner with products from our own and other domestic farms. A vegetarian dish is offered as well! Salad from the buffet will complete your dinner.

Comfy lounge...
The fire-place in the lounge invites you to have a fireside-chat - or just read your newspaper or a good book in the "fire-place-corner"!

Rooms and apartments...
Our rooms have been new furnished recently and they have all balcony with sun-chairs. They are comfortable, bright and spacious. Furthermore, there are three apartments available.
Skiing!...Ski-paradise!...
The skiing-mountains Hauser Kaibling, Planai, Hochwurzen and Reiteralm are all linked together by cable cars and build a ski-carrousel. Within only 5 minutes by car or by ski-bus, which also stops at the Kielhuberhof, you arrive at the cable car which brings you up to the Planai.

Dive into the pleasure of skiing
If you want to improve your skiing skills, you are quite right in the Dachstein-Tauern Region. The ski-schools of Ramsau offer classes for everybody, beginner to advanced.
Ski mountaineering
More than skiing - off slope skiing. The glacier is an ideal starting point for ski tours.
. Nordic skiing
Cross-country-skiing is amazing on the plateau of Ramsau. The slopes count 170 km, there are classik slopes as well as skating-slopes. Discover the beautiful winter-landscape by ski!
By the way: you can access the cross country slope right beside the hotel!
Winter is not only skiing
Discover the country by foot, walking on the winter paths which are available all over the plateau or try a snow shoe hike. Romantic horse-sleigh-rides can be organised, even in the evening, with a stop at one of the numerous comfortable alpine lodges. Have fun going sledging - also in the moonlight!
