The Pension Waldkrieber is run by Family Allen, Bill and Kay and their daughter Victoria, originally from Britain.

It is a 12 room (24+ bed) Pension, with large car park and is situated in a beautiful location, surrounded by mountains and forest. It is 5 minutes walk from the Presseggersee a well known lake.
The Pension offers comfortable rooms with TV, balconies and stunning views. We also have a sauna, solarium and gymnasium. There is a TV lounge, breakfast \ restaurant room with bar for guests. The Pension is set in beautiful grounds with sun terrace and ideal for relaxing.
Half board gives you a continental buffet breakfast (7:30 - 9.00), including cereals, fruit salad a cold meat & cheese platter, freshly baked bread, eggs, fruit juices, tea & coffee. Evening meal (18:30 - 20:00) consists of, soup of the day and salad, a main course and a dessert followed by a complimentary glass of wine. Vegetarians can be catered for when advised at time of booking.
The Pension Waldkrieber is glorious in the Winter and being only 5 minutes walk from the Presseggersee you can do some ice skating, as when cold enough the lake freezes over and the locals take advantage by getting their ice skating boots on. This all occurs from mid December when the lake is mostly frozen over and lends itself to ice skating or walking, around the lake there is a skating rink made for the occasion. The area is an Arena for ice sports or romantic walks.
The surrounding area (Gail Valley) offers a beautiful natural landscape with fantastic walking, hiking and cycling trails.
The Nassfeld ski area is 20 minutes away, with a free shuttle bus leaving a 3-minute walk away from the guesthouse.
Italy and Slovenia are only 30 minutes away and provide great opportunities for day trips.
