Our guesthouse is situated in the southern alpine region, the Karawanken. You will enjoy the healthy environment, the clean air and the nice scenery around our house.

For your comfort all the 15 rooms are equipped with shower/WC, telephone, flatscreen TV with all free Astra-channels, hairdryer, cosmetic-mirror and balcony or terrace.

The 9 apartments are equipped with shower/WC, telephone and satellite-TV. Furthermore you can choose from a variety of sports facilities such as basketball, table tennis and volleyball, or you can go for a swim in the pool.

Accommodation Information

All our rooms are modern and comfortably equipped.

They are equipped as follows: shower, toilet, hairdryer, cosmetic/shaver mirror, hygienic articles, safe, telephone, flatscreen TV with over 200 more spoken channels (Astra) and balcony or terrace.

All our beds have the comfortable height of 55cm. Twin-beds are also available. All rooms are non smoking. Pets are not allowed.

Location Information

From "Gasthof zur Post" you can start trips through the Alps. This part of Austria is known for its wonderful mountains and lakes which invite you to discover its unforgettable impressions. You can do swimming, fishing, sailing, cycling or play tennis.

Some like it more active and do parachuting or gliding. The most popular destinations are "Tscheppaschlucht", "Ferlacher Horn" and "Bodental". In winter the most popular sports are cross-country skiing, skiing, ice skating and ice climbing.

The craftsmanship of the rifle makers of Ferlach enjoys a worldwide recognition. The manual skills of the rifle makers have been build up during hundreds of years to an excellent world wide standard.
