Welcome to Böckstein, the most southern tourist resort of the Gastein valley and at the entrance to the National Park of High Tauern.

Our small family-run enterprise includes a three star guesthouse with comfortable rooms, holiday apartments and the Villa Gruber with its spacious apartments.

Both buildings are situated in a marvelous park of 4.000 square meters.

Accommodation Information

Our cozy double rooms are fully equipped, with balcony, SAT-TV, telephone, bathroom with shower and toilet.

Single rooms in the Pension Gruber are double rooms in single occupancy.

Our family rooms are equipped like the double rooms, but offer additional a living-corner and kitchenette. Recommended for 2 persons, who like a specious room or for families with 1-2 kids.

Location Information

Cure:
We are one of the hotels that are nearest to the BöcksteinThermal Rock Gallery. It is only a 5 minutes' car-ride to the "Felsentherme" and to the public treatment center with medicinal hot-water.

Alpine Skiing:
We are one of the hotels that are nearest to the high-altitude skiing area of Sportgastein - guarantee of snow!
It is only a 5 minutes' car-ride to the skiing facilities of Bad Gastein. Bus-Stop 200 m from our place, by returning, the free-of-charge-skiing-bus stops in front of the hotel

Hiking/Cross-Country Skiing:
The Empress-Elisabeth-Promenade, only 100 m off our house, leads you to the center of Bad Gastein. High-alpine climbing tours into the National Nature Reservation Park as well as comfortable and safe family-excursions to the surrounding mountains. It is a 5-minutes' walk to the cross-country loip-track between Böckstein and Bad Gastein.
