There is a designated smoking area outside. Alcohol is allowed in moderation until 9.30 pm. Guests are asked to be quiet after 10 pm.
The hostel is located just 600 metres distant from the Flinders Mall, where you find the Sunday Market. You also find the night clubs and shopping there. The popular Irish pubs are a block further. The supermarket is just 500 metres. While staying in Townsville a visit to Magnetic Island is a must, as is Billabong Sanctuary.
The wonderful Strand Beach, The Aquarium, Museum and cultural centre are only 10 to 20 mins by foot.
Townsville also has to offer good diving schools, where you get prepared for great dive and snorkelling trips to the reef. Divers! Don’t miss out the world renowned Yongala wreck dive.
