About Grampians Eco YHA
Hostel facilities include free on-site car and coach parking, two large fully equipped kitchens and two guest lounges with wood fire. There is also a TV room, plus internet and laundry facilities. Don’t miss the local kangaroos who make daily appearances, some of which are relaxed enough to eat right out of your hand! Other local wildlife include an abundance of birds, furry wallabies, emus and possums. Nearby Halls Gap Zoo offers the chance to see over 140 native and exotic animals up close.
Nearby Baroka Lookout, The Balconies and Reeds Lookout are the perfect place to soak up the stunning natural surrounds. You really are in the heart of the Grampians National Park, so make the most of it by visiting nearby waterfalls and short walks – the friendly reception staff can assist with directions and suggestions!
For those wanting more action, cycling and canoeing are great opportunities to get outdoors.
Visit Brambuk Cultural Centre to learn about the rich native Aboriginal culture and history of the Grampians National Park, and witness ancient rock art and cave drawings. The Grampians National Park is home to Victoria’s best rock-climbing, and a great place to try abseiling and hiking. After all the physical activity, take a well earned break by kicking your feet up at the beautiful McKenzie Falls, or curl up in the hostel guest lounge with a book.

The hostel has a large selection of room types, including multishare, double, twin and family rooms all with linen included. The Grampians Eco YHA is also a Rent-a-YHA hostel, and can be hired exclusively for groups of up to 64 guests. Group stays are welcome year-round.
