Liked: Definitely the location. It is in King Cross and very close to the Kings Cross train station.

Disliked: A paradox thing to say, if you stay in a room facing the main Kings Cross, it can be quiet noisy especially during the weekend.

Liked: Great location, close to train station. Fantastic range of food/drinks etc around the area. Staff very very helpful and friendly. Safe and Secure atmosphere with reception taking a safety first attitude. Rooms spacious and clean, fresh linnen given to you. Kitchen facilities and refrigertation perfect.

Disliked: Friendly atmosphere, location, clean tidy, great views from the roof top. Very very affordable and the cheapest in sydney. Fantastic new management. Will be recommending and staying again. Love this place.

Liked: perfect location if you're looking to party. Lots of freebies. Great to have an ensuite bathroom. Fridge in room so your food doesn't get stolen. Low number of people to a room. In other hostels for the same price you'd be in a dorm with 14-18 people. It's clean. You get ur own set of plates and cuttlery so you never have to do someone else's washing up.

Disliked: the lift is cut off at night.

Liked: Great location, loads of activities and free drinks, got upgraded for free, tvs, ensuites and kitchenettes in rooms!

Disliked: Carpets were pretty gross but for $12 a night you can't complain!

Liked: The location was good for staying in King's Cross, right in the middle of everything. And it seemed very big, so lots of people to meet there.

Disliked: It seemed small and dirty, the kitchen was disasterous.

Liked: Nothing

Disliked: There is no internet access in the rooms. You should pay for the internet inside the hostel's internet room. The "FREE unlimited internet > at Wicked Travel (9.30am to 8pm) " that they advertise is in a crowded noisy place 5 minutes walk from the hostel where you are ot allowed to use your own laptop. Staff are not responsive to guest's reuests. The first night there was a problem with the shower door in my room, I asked them three times to fix it, no one paid any attetion. The area is a high crime rate part of Sydney absolutely not suitable for families. If you are unhappy with the service and you want to cancel the rest of your stay, they don't have any refund policy. The only situation under which they give back your money is "the death of your close relatives" as the staff told me.

Liked: the staff are really friendly, every room has a TV that actually works with channels and a fridge and a bathroom. the room gets cleaned everyday and has really good air conditioning. The people who live here are really great people and there is a good mixtures of girls from boys and different countries and love to hit the roof for free drink nites and then to promotion bars for free drinks at 9 every night. I really loved the hostel and the people and will definitely be coming back when i come to kings cross.

Disliked: Really to be perfectly honest there was nothing bad that i could say about the place. had a great time there.

Liked: One of the cheaper places to stay

Disliked: As this is quite a large hostel it's not very friendly if you're on your own. Unless you smoke and drink all the time and spend a lot of time on the roof top it's not particularly sociable. Would be a great place if you were with a group of mates needing somewhere to stay but if you're on your own i would rather spend a couple more dollars a night and stay at a smaller hostel.

Liked: The hostel is close from the city centre. The private double room bas big and the shower as well.

Disliked: The Kings Cross quarter is not the best to live in Sydney. To have a free Internet connection you have to go out of the hostel.

Liked: Loads of free stuff - we got internet, breakfast, BBQ, pancakes & a party cruise all within 4 days of staying here!! Also really helpful & friendly reception staff. Good place to meet people and an entertainment manager that organised different events every night.

Disliked: It was usually quicker to walk than get the lift and room keycard needed resetting a couple of times.

Liked: Great location, really fun people staying there, and the prices were pretty good for the double room I stayed in. Free breakfast was standard but still welcome, and the ensuite bathroom was spotless. Bedding was spacious and comfortable.

Disliked: When I entered my room it hadn't been cleaned since the previous occupants, which I assume was because they had left the 'Do Not Disturb' sign on, which the cleaners apparently obeyed. There were huge stains on the carpet (from wine spillage or something, possibly?), the air conditioning was broken, and the fridge had leaked so there was a big puddle soaking through the carpet near it. There was also a pretty weird smell in the room, but as long as I kept the window open it wasn't too bad.

Liked: The rooms all have ensuite bathrooms which means that generally they are clean. The kitchen was well equipped and there were activities for every day of the week. The rooms are cleaned every day.

Disliked: The location is ok in that it's central to the city but King's Cross is not a nice area and this hostel is right on the main strip of the Cross meaning that it is very noisy. The staff are fine but not really that bothered. There didn't seem to be a lot of tourist information in reception apart from expensive tours. All accommodation in Sydney is really expensive and considering that the value is ok but not great really.
