Liked: best deal in town, awesome rooftop patio. Seemed like the long termers were a big happy family, playing guitar and singing up there every night. A close enough walk to everything that we didn't have to use public transport to get to the Opera House, etc. Far enough away from King's Cross for my liking, always felt safe walking from the CBD to here.

Liked: The location was really good close to city centre and kingscross. But the cleanliness was an all time low. The kitchen and bathroom facilities were disgusting and falling apart.

Liked: kitchenwares are locked at reception and need to pay deposit for dirty materials. kitchen and toilets/showers are very small not even enough for 2 people.

Liked: The room was so dirty, the bed sheets haven't been changed from the previous clients and the new sheets were not clean neither. One window broken, another not closing, laundry out of order, etc....

Liked: The location was great and on a quiet street. It was really accessible to much of what Sydney has to offer so we were able to walk everywhere. The rooftop view was beautiful. The price fit our budget; however, the cleanliness was subpar. I wish we had paid more attention to past reviews, as they were accurate. Also, there are several people who live there, so it felt like an invasion of their space.

Liked: I wasn't there long but ppl all seemed friendly and nice range of travellers staying here, near oxford street which has some good bars but not very central so bit of a mission walking into town.

Liked: the location, double rooms are big and clean, the bathrooms/ toilets were clean, (the kitchens are very small), by reading the other reviews we thought it would be horrible, but it wasn't! A pleasant stay in the sydney!

Liked: It's near the centre and the street that takes you to the hostel is big and always full of people, so you don't worry about your safety. Besides, free transport from the airport and free internet; who gives you more?
