Liked: Right on the bustop across from the beach, bright and clean like most YHA's. All things are free to use like surfboards, bicycles and night entertainment put on by staff. Area is stunning and staff really friendly and helpful. I'd recommend this one over Manly or Bondi hostels.

Liked: The friendliness and helpfulness of staff was brilliant- great atmosphere in hostel would definately recommend this hostel and come back! Drew Scott and Tony were excellent thanks guys for making our stay as fun as it was!!

Liked: Close to the beach, but you're not too far away from the city. Friendly atmosphere, nice pool. Just one thing we didn't like: Very messy kitchen and nobody was willing to clean his stuff :(

Liked: I thought everyone was really friendly including the staff and was a really good place to meet new peope. its right by the beach which is amacing and not too far away from the city and manly.

Liked: that there were lockers for our possessions, sheets and towels were easily and readily available. Kitchen was HUGE and offered a good range of cooking and eating equipment. Free surf boards and bikes, I thought was excellent!

Liked: There had been a communication errror between us and the hostel staff which resulted in an unwanted booking cancellation. The staff were extremely sensitive to our needs and went way beyond our expectations to rectify the problem. I would not hesitate to recommend this hostel, and I plan to stay ther when I return to the "magic down under".

Liked: Free hire of surf boards, body boards and bikes, lockers in rooms and cinema room with large range of dvds to watch for free. Also very close to the beach. Its about 1 hour on a bus to the city centre but if its a beach stay you are after then this is perfect.

Liked: Friendly atmosphere, 2 seconds from the beach and surfing. Communal areas to meet people. A bit far from the Sydney centre however. Beware, this city is very, very large. The difference in bus fare makes up for the difference in price. If you want night life, pick a hostel closer to town. But if you want a relaxed atmosphere and easy pub nights this is the place!
