Liked: Spacious rooms, great lockers with lots of plug sockets! Lots of communal areas, very clean, well stocked kitchen, rooftop terrace.

Disliked: Not the best atmosphere, I think a lot of people live and work here so they're not the most welcoming.

Liked: Close to central station and there was a bar downstairs that served dinner too. It was clean and pretty quiet. Also organised things happening for most nights of the week. It wasn't really a "party hostel" - could be a good or a bad thing!

Disliked: The pub crawl that was organised was a bit of a mission. The person running it didn't know how to get to the first location where we met up with another hostel, so we ended up walking around for a long time. Also, the 5 pubs was reduced to 3. The other guests were pretty friendly, but lots there long term that were a bit clicky. Generally I'd say it was quite good if you are happy to do your own thing :-)

Liked: Muito bom o albergue, pessoal muito atencioso para dar qualquer informação. Os quartos são espaçosos, camas confortáveis e tudo bem limpo. Vou ter que voltar em Sydney, com certeza ficarei lá novamente.

Liked: So close to the Central station, you see it from coming out from the station exit. Check in nice and quick, no promblem at all, will recommend it highly!

Liked: Just next to central train station. That really makes moving around Sydney pretty easy. On top of that, the bus stop for the free bus service 555 is just 5mins within walking distance.

Disliked: Staff don't greet you when you enter the hostel. They hardly even raise their head to smile at you even if there is no one they need to attend to at the counter. Only on my last 2 days were I greeted with a hello.

Liked: The staff go above and beyond in this luxury hostel. By far the best hostel that I have ever stayed in.

Disliked: The lift was slow but hey that's what legs are for. No negative comments at all!!!

Liked: The staff and management are great at dealing with any issues you may have and answering any questions about locations and activites in sydney. Mark does a good job of keeping everyone happy, and the rooms and facilities are second to none. The communal area, kitchen, tv room and the people all contribute in making this the nicest place I have stayed in Sydney. Would happily live here for a long stay as well as just a short break.

Liked: The hostel is really good, in my top three hostels that I have stayed in around the world. Definitely don't regret booking here for ten nights at all. I'm heading off travelling and then booked back here for when I return to Sydney for long term.

Disliked: Nothing.

Disliked: - no dedicated travel desk, most of the time people didn't know much about the tours/trips on offer - atmosphere was lacking...most of the people living there were working - no basic breakfast

Liked: Great hostel, good facilities, friendly staff. Good location.

Disliked: Pricey at $35 for a 6 bed female dorm, but I guess that is just what it costs to stay in Sydney these days as price was comparable to other hostels...

Liked: it is really clean, very spacious room and common areas. it is very accessible to all amenities as central station is only 2 minutes away. the rooftop is massive with nice furnished sofas, it is such a beautiful relaxing place. kitchen is always clean plus it has enough space for everyone and there is an abundant supply of cutleries and everything you need in the kitchen. the staff are quite friendly also. i highly recommend Bounce Hostel to everyone!

Disliked: it would be nice it the cinema area had its own room...

Liked: The hostel was very clean, the dorms were cleaned everyday, vacumed, bins emptied, etc bathrooms were spotless. Luandary room with washing machines and dryers, not very cheap, $4 per wash and $4 per dry, but no hangers to hang anything in there if you've hand washed something. Free hairdryer on one of floors in the girls bathroom only. I liked that there is a bathroom for girls and one for boys. Internet was the cheapest here compared to the internet shop down the road, hostel was $10 for 5 hours or $3 an hour, and was quite fast. The kitchen was also clean and large enough for several people to cook at once, enough gas hobs, work surfaces, so no need to wait and plenty of fridges to store food, and shelves at the back to store dry food. There was a member of staff in the morning and evening, tydying up, putting washed plates away etc. Cleaners would clean in mornings too. Decent set of utensils, knives, chopping board etc so very easy to prep some food. They would close the kitchen/dining/roof top area at 12 am so no where else to socialise after that in the hostel, if this is something you want to do then have to go outside to the nearest bar/pub. Plenty of them in walking distance, Coles supermarket 10 mins walk away, Central station right opposite and greyhound bus station just across the road. Very quiet (except your dorm mates if they are going out/in the the early hours) but otherwise not a party hostel so can get some sleep. Inidivdual lights by bunk bed and power sockets inside the locker, to charge your phone whilst locked away.

Disliked: Not many people staying were very social since a lot of them were long stayers in Oz for work, but this should not stop people in staying here despite this

Liked: The building is very modern and well designed throughout.

Disliked: Internet / Wifi is expensive. You pay $7 for 3 hours. On the company website and on the front screen of the computers it is advertised as FREE.
