Liked: Enjoyed the stay at R 23. The reception, Laura and Steven were most helpful.Would definately recommend the Maze to all my friends visiting Sydney,NSW. Thelocation is truly centralized. The building is surely recommendedly historical.The toilets are clean,bright ; and the showers are good! You definately would notfeel LONELY staying at this place.

Liked: The bathrooms need improving, especially the showers. Its a shame that there are no power sockets in the rooms too. Location is great and you get what you pay for!!

Liked: Pretty average hostel. The only downer was the lack of plug sockets in the rooms - apparently as its a listed building they cant add any to the rooms so you have to charge up your stuff in the hallways or ask reception.

Liked: An old hostel with a logo "Erected 1908". Extremely perfect,if you're finding somewhere cheap to stay. Bad cleanliness is the reason makes me not recommending you to go. Toilets are old and with horrible smells. The rooms are small, with smells and stain too. Even there is a new part of dining area, the overall environment doesn't meet satisfaction.

Liked: Don't stay here! The single room was an absolute hole. It stunk, the window wouldn't close, the paint was chipping, the fan sounded like a machine gun....so disgusting. And a total rip off. There are a million better hostels than this...stay in one of them!

Liked: good if you can get a good price. and a good location. plus they've made a lot of improivements with better kitchen and tv room equipment. but it's VERY big so not amazing for lone travelers. But there are lots of activities (shared with Westend, over the road)
