Liked: 1. Location was great2. Great entertainment options : TV , Pool table, free drinks etc.3. Good place to meet people with large number of rooms.4. No curfews , good storage location for luggage post checkout.

Disliked: 1. The walls are thin so you get noise inside your rooms. 2. The Showers in ladies toilet had no water pressure. 3. The people at reception could have been more friendly.

Disliked: room was very cold, and the bathrooms a little bit messy. also there were parties at the hostel so it was very noisy until like 3am, not a very good place if you really need a good sleep

Liked: great location, toilets and showers were clean.

Disliked: The mattress was old, rough and uneven, very noisy, lots of street noise from the lane way below and noise from other guests, sounded like some one was banging on the fire escape all the time and kicking the bins around outside. There was a loud heating/cooling unit across the lane way which ran all day till about 12:30 at night. So I would recommend ear plugs.

Liked: I stayed in a double room. It was basic, but clean. All i was after was a bed, and thats what i got. A bonus is the free breakfast. The bathrooms were basic, sometimes a bit messy. I'd recommend rethinking your stay if its on a friday night. It was noisy, people running around til 3am, people lingering in the halls.

Liked: the toilets are really messy, this is not the cleanest hostel. but if you like to party, just join all the other travellers at the dining room and head out to the nightclubs nearby.

Liked: Fun fun fun! Every night a different activity, lots of free drinks, what better way to meet friends? Good price for the location, also got upgraded from an 8 bed dorm to a twin share, hurray to that! :)Loved it!

Liked: One of the best experiences in Australia so far! Great buzz, great nightly activities (speed dating last night was a blast!), staff are hilarious and very friendly! Brilliant location, right in the city centre, everything is around (restaurants, bars, shops..) Will definitely come back!

Liked: This hostel had a great vibe and I met loads of fun, friendly people. They gave away loads of freebies which was ace. The rooms were basic but clean and the staff were super friendly!! It was definitely a night to remember....

Liked: Great hostel, great fun throughout my stay! Only booked for one night but extended for a week, and will definitely come back when returning to Sydney! Staff are great, they know how to party and make you feel welcome! Also excellent value for money, thanks to the location and all the free things on offer. They just started free city tours during the day, great opportunity to meet friends and great activities at night to keep everyone entertained! Definitely definitely recommend to everyone!

Liked: It's a real good place to stay! Had so much fun there! They have a lot going on, heaps of free stuff and the atmosphere is really good.. i met so many people! The bathrooms need a makeover, but were okay... I would recommend this place if you're alone, you won't be alone for long!!

Liked: The location was great. We met some great people. At 645AM this morning I had gone to check out and organise my airport shuttle, The staff member had blasted the music and I was surprised he could even hear me. The showers stunk like urine. I reccomend if you are a female and decide to go a shared dorm, DONT! Stick with your own sex dorms! Overall rating 6/10. I was happy with the smiley greeting we recieved and helpful advise.

Liked: Maze have really got some un-called-for reviews. The place is awesome with great staff, location and so on. We paid &50AUD for a double, you won't find another hostel in Sydney that offers that price. Maze is really great.

Liked: Girls showers very dirty. Not secure at all as anyone could wander in off the streets. Beds very extremely uncomfortable. No plug sockets in rooms and some in the corridors didnt even work.
