Liked: The reception is VERY helpfull and polite, good room with excellent bed and very central location.

Disliked: The kitchen was duty sometime!

Liked: Well set out hostel, good showers, the owner/mananger really friendly and helpful

Disliked: It was very hot when I was there so aircon would've been nice, or extra fans. Needs flyscreen to keep the mozzies out!

Liked: keith is a champ, darcy makes you feel at home. not a heavy drinking hostel like the central ones, good facilities

Disliked: the atmosphere at the hostel was so friendly i didnt want to leave

Liked: Keith on recption is very nice and ready to offer any advice of where to go and how to get there. The free breakfast is a nice touch and the rooms are well equipped with TV and fridge. It is also not too large and is cleaned reguarly.

Disliked: Can't think of much so will just mention the overhanging trees outside the property - Keith get your hedgetrimmer out man!!

Liked: Very close to train station and Elmore road for cafes, restaurants and nightlife. It is in a safe area and is quiet.

Disliked: Nothing, it was all as expected.

Liked: keith, the owner, was extremely helpful and knowledgeable on the area - pleased to give you information on what to do etc at any time. very accomodating - we decided to stay an extra 3 nights at late notice and keith sorted it out straight away. lovely free breakfast in the mornings. good value for money and easy to get into the city. would definately recommend staying there.

Disliked: didn't dislike anything!

Liked: Free Wi-Fi (even though a bit buggy, but ethernet in rooms was fine). Fridge, sink, TV in every room. It's not located in Sydney's heart but therefore it's quiet around here and you feel safe! Keith, the manager, is a great guy just like all the travellers here were.

Disliked: Only con: You had to leave the kitchen and eating area at 10:30pm. That makes pleasant sleep but it's less cool to hang around.

Liked: very clean, perfect location out of the city but only 8 minutes away on the train. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Free tea and coffee along with free breakfast. Hostel was nice and quiet a good place to stay if you cant to chill out.

Disliked: I didnt meet very many other backpackers in this hostel not a place to go if you want to party.

Liked: great location, excellant value for money and Keith was very helpful and friendly. Nice extra touches of free breakfast (with a good selection), free internet access on lanline or wifi. Clean and tidy rooms.

Liked: Clean and location is not bad. 100 meters to nearest train station Stanmore, and only 3 or 4 stations away to Town Hall.

Disliked: In the morning there are a lot of jets flying over...too aloud.

Liked: The staff where very friendly and if you want somewhere that's nice and peaceful to sleep, well this is the perfect place. A really good hostel and great value for money

Liked: The hostel provided free wifi which u can hardly get it at other hostel in Sydney. And the boss is flexible on payment which tenant can pay on the day when leaving : )

Liked: We originally booked to stay for 2 weeks but ended up staying for 3. Keith, the owner, is very friendly & welcoming & helped us a lot with where to go & what to see & really made us feel at home. The hostel was cleaned everyday & the free breakfast was good. The hostel is literally 5 minutes walk from the trains to the city, a few local shops & a pub. It's in a lovely quiet part of town & is a good base for exporing sydney.We had a great stay & felt quite sad when we had to leave.

Liked: not too far away from the city if you want to stay at some quite hostel far from party animal. homely environment, very spacious, good breakfast compare to other hostel i stayed in Australia. very helpful manager. bathroom always clean.
