Liked: To be fair, we only stayed one night and might not have got to known all the facilities the hostel offers. There should be a duty manager on at night to prevent other travellers from palying guitar and singing until the early hours of the morning.

Liked: Decent location near Central Station, free wifi. Other than that though, there was pretty much none of the atmosphere you'd expect from a backpacker hostel. That said, it was clean enough, and cheap.

Liked: Free internet but you need to bring your laptop.Hearty breakfast : tea and coffee available all day, large choice of cereals, butter, jam, peanut butter for your uncounted toasts.Host is available in case of trouble, even when desk is closed.Far from harbour but close to loads of restaurants and train station.Noisy during the night but well, it's Sydney !A good stay

Liked: It was clean, secure and good value for the centre of the city. However, its convenient location was the problem. It was so noisy at night mainly because we had to have the windows open onto busy George Street. The beds weren't very comfortable at all but the internet worked well and there was a pleasant kitchen

Liked: The location was great, right near chinatown and darling harbour. Free 555 bus to sydney harbour bridge. Hostel double room was basic but clean, no aircon and next to main road. Old hotel style. Shared kitchen area was small considering amount of rooms. Free wifi and free cereal, toast, coffee and tea. Staff were friendly and helpful. Worst thing was COLD showers, staff advised this was due to a busy time as peole were getting ready to check out but surely the majority of people shower in the morning? 24 hr showers advertised! Think u can find cheaper, a little pricey for what u get
