Liked: So central, couldnt be any closer! biggest worry as was staying with the misses was safety but during our stay we never felt unsafe, the door system worked well and there were always plenty of people about, was a very comfortable place :)

Disliked: no drinking inside building was a bit annoying but theres a separate bar below that offerers discount to customers of the hostel and it is very central.. noise of traffic wasnt as bad as expected either but might be prob for very light sleepers. (I didnt notice this tho :))

Liked: Staff and patrons very friendly and helpful, will definately be staying their again when in Sydney.

Disliked: So many stairs and we had cases.

Liked: pretty cheap and the best location which takes only 2~3mins from central station.

Disliked: It was quite noisy place, so I recommend to bring your ear plug absolutely.

Liked: Near to amenities, Market City and plenty of food eatery around

Disliked: Noisy in the evening and rooms poorly ventilated. Paid more than I should as I was not able to get preferred bed. Staff could have exercised a lot more flexibility in dealing with such matters. Room had a stench when I entered

Liked: Very clean and tidy, very friendly staff, close to the city, not too expensive

Liked: Both my dorm (of six girls) and the bathroom/kitchen facilities were very clean and tidy.

Disliked: Had some issues with the key - both the first one they gave me and the replacement one didn't work in the lock and I had to get one of the staff members to let me into my dorm...

Liked: I like that it was right on the corner of george street, the staff were helpful as well.

Disliked: The noise, I didn't get any sleep that night, the traffic on george street in the early hours of the morning is horrendous and there is no air con in the the 10 bed dorm either. Stifling hot plus very noisy = no sleep

Liked: The location was good,just 30 minutes walk to Circular Quay.The hostel is on Gerorge street whcih is one of the busiest streets in Sydney,But it was very noisy and it was hard to sleep at night.The staff was really nice and it was clean.

Disliked: mixed showers (rooms for male and female are not seperate), noisy because no Air condition so we left open the window, not very strong beds (feels like on a boat)

Liked: Great place to hang out with other travellers and in an amazing location in Sydney. The staff are really friendly and helpful.

Liked: The manager of the hostel is verry nice. She was always willing to help you and she added some atmosphere in the hostel around christmas.

Disliked: there is not really an outside area and the rooms are very small.

Liked: location was good for free bus.

Disliked: dirty, smelly , hot rooms. drunk bloke passed out on floor having urinated on carpet - stain still there two days later. bathrooms need to be cleaned more regularly if guests are going to keep missing the toilet. unhelpful staff, no space to relax.
