Sydney Central Hostel is Sydney’s newest budget accommodation truly in the center of the city. We are a class above regular backpacker hostels providing clean, comfortable accommodation without the price of a hotel.

Formerly known as the Chamberlain Hotel, our beautiful heritage building used to be home to actors and performers playing at the Capitol Theatre.

We have the best location for any traveler because everything you need is just seconds away! Surrounded by the coolest bars, clubs, restaurants and cafes in Sydney every night will be a new and awesome experience.

When it’s time to relax, just pop downstairs and enjoy a drink at the bar. There are promotions on offer every night of the week like free massages, free manicures and cheap meals and drinks so there’s no time to be bored.

So come and stay at the best location Sydney has to offer and don’t regret paying for that smelly old room!

Our newly refurbished rooms are furnished with a tv and fridge while our squeaky clean bathrooms are shared.
