Liked: I loved the fact that everyone was drunk, it was very sociable waiting 30 minutes for the lift everytime and great having the bouncer barge into you when you try to come back in

Disliked: Quite frankly it makes the third world look heavenly, no sarcasm. A pit of a hostel, truly vile!

Liked: It had fun things too do with other people at the hostel, great way too meet people and have some fun and free drinks..goon but still worth it. Nice how cheap it is, and with a nomads card its even better. Nice too have the bathroon connected on the 6 dorm and 4 dorm places. The church looks intese and crowded. the air condinioning is pretty decent

Disliked: Internet is expensive, but just go across the street to a place with free internet!! Only one elevator works which is annoying.

Liked: Not much

Disliked: Horrendously expensive internet, full of drunk Brits acting like they are on Shameless. Cockroaches in bed, no working door for bathroom so everyone can see and hear everything. Rude door man. Keys stop working randomly. Lots of staff seem to be casual backpackers, half naked drunk guy came into the room to do housekeeping this morning as a member of staff. One slow servicing 13 floors, you might as well not bother - wait of upto 15 minutes to get into the lift. Truly awful hostel

Liked: Nothing

Disliked: During our 3 night stay we met multiple people that had had belonging nicked. DO not put food in the fridge-it will most likely go missing. The room and cooking/relaxing area is filthy. In general staff are unhelpfull and overall the place felt seedy. Its main concern was promoting night life and pub crawls so if you are only looking for a 'not so nice place to crash then maybe you wont mind. The area is quite close to the city centre however not the most desired. I have travelled for the last 6 months and including Asia and South America this was in general the worst hostel experience I have had so far!

Liked: It is good for having lots of parties and drinking but not if you are looking for work. The free pasta and rice is good.

Disliked: It was really dirty, there is 'cleaning' done but it is not substantial. The toilet was especially dirty. The lifts take ages. The towels cost $5 to hire. The TV room is attached to the kitchen and general hangout area, which is bad, because you cant watch TV quietly/relax. It seems to be constant partying, which is good if you want that kind of thing.

Liked: Myself and 4 friends were in a family room, sheets on bed were stained, bedding damp, noisy air con, thick mould on window, constant dripping sound from above bathroom, filthy carpet and bathroom, we used anti bac wipes to clean shower and wipes were thick muck after! Room far to small for 5 people with luggage, no storage. Lifts were hot smelly and slow. Kitchen was filthy, never any clean pots! Laundry room average, although we found our laundry had been taken out of dryer early and dumped in the bin! Broken ironing board. Lobby smelt very belt of urine. Only positives are that they put on good nights/ days out free wine and BBQ etc, good place to meet people and socialise. Friendly helpful staff.

Liked: In a good location

Disliked: The springs in the bed dug into my back, the window in the bathroom was smashed and had no curtain, the room- there was no space in the room because there was an extra set of beds in the room than stated on the door and the beds where ridiculously close together and the room wasn't very clean.

Liked: Great location, good event organisation, nice friendly staff.

Disliked: Not clean. Kitchen was a disaster. We actually spent time cleaning the whole kitchen (other people's messes) before we used the kitchen, Just so it was clean. If you are prepared to shower with your shoes and ignore a stench of feet, mouldy pizza and stale beer. It is an inexpensive hostel in a great location.

Disliked: The room was very very dirty, the walls were not painted in ages , many scratches on the wall and when entered the room it was stinking.. Please make an effort and paint the rroms and clean them... it wil make a huge differnce.....................I do not think that we got clean beddings, i think they were used b previous people...

Liked: Nothing really

Disliked: The duvet under which I slept was not fit to line a dog kennel. When I removed the cover in the morning it was stained from either vomit or worse... The Kitchen facilities were a joke. Cutlery and plates were supposed to be available in the kitchen but good luck finding any. If you were lucky enough to get a saucepan you had to wash the rice(which they give you for free) off it. Do not stay here, for a few dollars more stay somewhere clean and comfortable.

Liked: The staned glass windows, friendly staff, the lovely people i met, the free pasta and rice.

Disliked: the unisex bathroom and shower facilities could do with some improving, not enough showers and nowhere to put your stuff, lockers would be good in the church and they dont do breakfast.

Liked: i loved all the reception staff they where very helpfull and lots of fun!! i would like to stay there after my travels!! i have made lots of friend there, its a great place to meet other travellers!! there was alway fun activities to be done!! brilliant!!

Liked: The kitchen was open 24h which is good if you're hungry after a night out.

Disliked: It doesnt have the atmosphere. I missed the cozy feeling. Moreover, because it was such a big hostel it was actually harder finding new friends. Everyone was in their own groups. And last but not least, if you are sensitive to noise avoid the "Church" room with 32 guest by all means. Traffic and drunk people from outside + idiots in the room coming home late night can make u crazy.
