mark coombesDid not like anything about this hostel except the location. Staff need training in customer service.There were couple of occasions where staff were rude to customers especially where there was a language barrier. Rooms are complete rip off.We paid 95 dollars for a room that wasn't clean and some of the plug sockets did not work. Kitchen is too small to cook,and there is no oven. Avoid,there are better hostels elsewhere. |

Customer reviewMy wife and I stayed in one of the private double rooms. It was all that we needed for one night in the city - bed and bathroom - basic but did the job. My only complaint would the the lack of window (there was one but it was covered over) - it felt like being in a dungeon, and if i didn't have my alarm set would have slept the whole day away! |

Customer reviewAbout the only good thing I can say for the hostel was it was close to the business I had come to Sydney to visit. But otherwise -the building was unbelieveable hot in all the rooms. People were smoking right on the door step so everytime I came and went I had to walk through a cloud of smoke. I stayed in a 6 female dorm room-- which was incredible small for that many people. And because there was no storage space in the rooms there was barely any room to walk around. The beds were horrible-- basically just covered springs. |

Customer reviewI had a great stay, the only thing that bothered me in the shared rooms is the rudeness of a couple of stayers, coming in the room at early hours and yelling and carrying on, very rude and inconsiderate of others in the room trying to sleep and when confronted told me to shut the f#%^ up! otherwise a great facility but there should be a better rule |

Brandi MonsmaGreat location. I thought it was relatively clean until I saw a huge cockroach crawl under a door. The staff was AWESOME and had great advice about my stay in Australia. Very friendly people, both travelers and the staff. If you're looking for clean, Wake Up Hostel is more your style. |

anita jacakWell, Where do I begin? The worst hostel I have stayed so far while traveling round the world. Have never seen such a flithy place...make sure you have shoes on when you want to use the kitchen and the comunal toilet in the morning. You might even gag! The management should consider buying some new creockery and cutrelery, not enough to go around for 15 people. |

john cunninghamGreat atmosphere here, really party place, but still quiet when you want it to be. activities organsied everynight and always free drinks avalable at local bars. book online and its really cheap, extend your stay and it stings! services like laundry, net and storage are all charged extra and are very expensive. so do laundry before you get here and use the net elsewhere, theres free places a block away if you look for them. overall a really fun places to stay, stay in the church, you might here things go bump in the night...happy days |
