Liked: Good if you just want a bed for the night but staff were poor apart from first check in. Owner especially poor a smile would be nice every now and again.

Liked: Close to Central Train station. Overlooking nice park (but currently undergoing extensive renovation, so wasn't able to actually access. Looks like it will be good once it's finished though - sports courts/ swimming pool/ greenery etc).

Liked: Good place if you want to sleep at night rather than go drinking! I Liked the fact that it's a nice relaxed place and not all about party party with 18 year old kids! It's about 5 minutes walk from Central station, from where there's a free bus to go all around the CBD! Would stay here again.

Liked: clean and safe , but a little far away form hostel to central station , it takes about 15 mins by walk.

Liked: Great value! I had a tv, fridge, fan, air conditioner, and en suite, all within walking distance of Sydney attractions.

Liked: This hostel is a good place for the traveller who likes to relax and is not so interested in the party vibe. Good to return a few years on and still find its clean, tidy and the rooms have the much needed air-con at the end of the day. You have the choice to sit in the court yard or go chill on the front balcony space. It is close to the train station and easy walk to the city. I will be returning as i have not found any where that gives the same standards for this type of money.

Liked: not to bad first room i was in was not very clean then the second room was much better good value for money and very close to train station would stay here again

Liked: The internet is quite cheap, the kitchen is big enough and fairly well equipped. The rooms are a bit cramped but ok. Fairly decent hostel and has a nice courtyard. Could do with a TV lounge though

Liked: Alfred Park is a really nice place, good location, safety, quiet, very clean. Staff is really friendly and helpful. Quickly respond to our need. Nice service let us finish our bike travel. We recommend it, and think Alfred Park is the best hotel because they let traveller feel nice and warm.

Liked: great location, clean safe and friendly and the staff would do anything for you. got our taxi from the airport refunded as the free shuttle bus was unavailable, 2hours free interent upon arival and free washing powder was brill and excellent value for money!!
