Liked: Great kitchen with free coffee & tea, enough space and good equipment for cooking. Quality of the rooms depend on each room. I stayed in 2 different 4 dorm share. One of them was bigger, had two big windows, a little kitchen, cupboard, telly and private lockers - very nice room. The other one was a bit smaller, had no telly and no cupboard. The hostel is quite strict which is good for people who work in Sydney but might not be the right place for people who wants to party.

Disliked: No possiblity to skype on their PCs.

Liked: It was clean and the rooms were cool (temperature). The room I was in had a fridge which was handy.

Disliked: Climbing up four flights of stairs to your room isn't great, and it would be nice to have free wifi.

Liked: I used a 6 bed mixed dorm room and fortunately met nice fun mates there. Really enjoyed my stay.

Liked: location was quite good for the cross, not as noicy as the hostels on darlinghurst rd

Disliked: rooms were small and smelly, toilets and showers and kitchen filthy. and the kitchen is way too small!

Liked: Clean bathrooms and showers. Breakfast included, which is always a bonus. Central location, although Kings Cross is very hit and miss.

Disliked: We have been traveling for nearly five months and this is probably the first hostel I would not recommend. We had too many bad experiences. It is loud, the noise from above us was like having a bunch of kids jumping around all night above us. The hostel is trying to crack down on it but maybe there is not much they can do about who they attract. Reception service was variable. Some nice staff who looked like travelers but did not seem to always know what to do about stuff. Others seemed kind of uninterested, in me anyway, but the cute 18 year old lasses seemed to get more attention. I had something thrown at me from the top of a building. Staff thought it could be the neighbours who don't like the hostel, see their point. Cockroach in the room, not to be unexpected in Oz but the room was not the cleanest, old bits of food behind the fridge. Reported it but reception didn't give a clear indication about what would be done, or apologise. Wifi not working. General vibe was not for us, pretty loud and lary but not sociable or interesting.

Liked: Friendly and helpful staff, rather clean kitchen (thanks to the French guy cleaning it ;) ) and good location! Absolutely good hostel!

Liked: Awesome location with helpful staff (special mention to Charlie), with plenty of information available about what to do in Sydney. Also helpful were staff opinions on various activities.

Disliked: As it is a backpackers, advise those looking to sleep to take some ear plugs for the occasional disruptive stayer, but overall there was nothing much to dislike!

Liked: I liked that there was a heater, fridge and tv in the room! A nice bookswap aswell! We came 7 o'clock in the morning after 12 hours travel and got our room immidietly-that was GREAT! Furthermore was the bed comfi!

Disliked: The toilets was not that clean and run out of toiletpaper a couple of times. The other one was there no light, even though i saw some staff in the toilet, and the didn't do anything. The luggage store sucked! And the 'great rooftop' as mention in the add for the hostel, was mostly just people way to high hanging around!

Liked: Not too far from the centre of Sydney and the staff were really helpful when checking in. They let me look at two dorms before choosing which one i wanted to sleep in which was really helpful

Disliked: In Kings Cross everyone is up 24/7 so it is very noisy everywhere is you are trying to sleep

Liked: Great location and friendly staff. The hostel is close to trains, supermarket and if you want you can walk almost everywhere. The bedrooms were warm and comfortable and the kitchen was a good size. The whole place was very clean. Also the free airport pickup was amazing!! Def would stay here again!

Disliked: Nothing!!
