Liked: Location & Price. .... It did what it said on the promo!

Disliked: Limited kitchen space but for the price you can't complain. Besides, with the money you save on the accommodation you can afford to eat in the café/bar.

Liked: nett, freundlich und hilfsbereit. buchungsfehler brachte uns ein 2 bett zimmer zum preis eines 6 bett zimmers... gute problemloesung. gute lage zur oper und kings cross....

Disliked: nicht alle kuechenutensilien waren in gutem zustand und teilweise net ganz sauber...

Liked: This hostel was pretty nice. They had a bar to drink and meet people. had no problems with it and met some great people in the hostel. Good location. Very close to a train stop and Kings Cross the red light district. Staff was very nice and helpful.

Disliked: Chloe left no negative feedback.

Liked: The location is great, the staff were great, put me in a 4 bed even though I booked an 8 bed dorm due to a mix up with my booking. Thanks!

Disliked: Can't access to the wifi on the 3rd floor

Liked: Huge but characterful, super helpful staff too. Nice big dorms and good facilities including well serviced kitchen and bathrooms!!!

Disliked: Nothing wrong with the property at all - i guess the location may be a bit out of the way for some people - at least 25mins walk from C. Quay but only 10 from the nearest tube station St James.

Liked: The location is great.

Disliked: Most of the showers and toilets were broken during my stay. Some of the defects seemed fairly easy to fix, but it just seemed that they didn’t bother to do anything about it. This place is pretty old and worn down. A lot of noisy and rude guests while I was there.

Liked: Friendly people, the room is comfortable, location excellent and the staff helped us with everything we need.

Disliked: Hostel is big and sometimes you must wait for kitchen - eat in Cafe instead they do $10 meal deals every night and the quality and size of meals are amazing for price!

Disliked: Cards didn't work most of the time and some things that were broken or not working properly were not fixed.

Disliked: this hostel is so un clean, all the dorm rooms are messy. the kitchen is tiny and only has 2 working gas hobs. you also have to pay a deposit to use cutlery and plates

Liked: Nice location, nice building and bathrooms ok. I didn't use the kitchen but it seemed clean and big enough.

Disliked: 10$ deposit for the key, 2$ for the lockers (and my average-sized bag could only fit in 1 of the 20+ lockers), people in my room would have there stuff spread all over the room (ok that's not the hostel's fault but still)... Some bathroom would not work nor my door which wouldn't close.

Liked: For a larger hostel, Elephant does a good job. There's an active vibe and entertainment & a full-on bar for socializing, plus most other amenities you might need (some free, some for pay). The location is excellent.

Disliked: A little bit noisy especially on the weekends, but it was not a problem. Definitely I would recommend this place to stay.

Liked: Great hostel! Excellent/Clean guest kitchen. The hostel is in a great location and close to everything. They also have a lift for higher floors. They have a café that provides $10 meals at night and very cheap breakfast. The rooms are spacious and clean too!

Disliked: Hostel is very busy and sometimes you must wait for receptionist.

Liked: Gives you everything you would expect from a hostel nothing more, nothing less - but the location is amazing!

Liked: Location was really good. Nice kitchen and common room. Good to have a bar there and it was rather cheap.

Disliked: Very dirty in dorms. It looked like stuff from people that where long gone was still there and so. It was easy for people that weren't supposed to stay at the hostel to do that - two girls in my dorm brought some guys home with them one night and one of them was having sex in the bunk bed below me.

Liked: They clean the place three times a day! Huge lockers in the dorms. Rooms were large and spacious. Not very far walk to downtown and attractions. Cheap beer and meal deals every night. $10 for dinner and a beer, and the food was good!

Disliked: Two out of four toilets on my floor were out of order. The keycard machine broke so they had to let people into rooms each time they wanted to go in their rooms. This didn't feel safe because people in our room were leaving our door open. But was fixed the next day. No luggage room as advertised. Was told to put luggage in tv room as it would be safe there. Tv room smelled like urine and sweat.

Liked: Great location. The in-house pub has cheap food and beer which was convenient. Lockers in rooms and storage lockers for backpacks after checkout.

Disliked: Room needed cleaning. The night guard was amazingly grumpy.

Liked: Loved the people that work there. They made us feel very welcome and had lots of input for the places we should go to. I highly recommend this place. The room that we stayed in was very nice the café downstairs was fun and cheap.

Disliked: Had to rent crockery but this was refunded when you check out. In the end we ate in the cafe which is cheap and easier:)
