Liked: The place is clean, the staff is nice. but there are staying quite a lot of alternative people. There was a lot of noise during the whole night.

Liked: this hostel is EXCELLENT for nights out. Every night, they offer cheap nights out for everyone including loads of free drinks and cheap meals - perfect for backpackers! - we stayed in a private room which was perfect for us although there is no air-con, just a fan and you can't open the windows at night because it's in a noisy location. Loads of clubs and bars are close and the tube station is only 3 mins up the road. Staff were excellent and really helpful - free breakfast!

Liked: Rooms with only 3 beds available. Lockers for everyone in the room. Cool style of the corridor. Breakfast included, but small kitchen that is connected with the TV room.

Liked: One of the best hostels in Sydney. Close to train station that can bring you to city centre in 1 or 2 stops,( you can also walk) bondi is also only bout 2 stops away.. also where it is situated has loads, shops, pubs, nightclubs but its also very quite in bedrooms. the rooftop is EXCELLENT place to meet people... the staff are really really friendly and helpfull.. also has fridge and tv in room which was great.. love love love this hostel.. have been traveling for 6months in oz and i can honestly say for location, fun, value for money and staff this is BEST hostel in sydney

Liked: The place is perfect if you are looking for a place to stay a couple of nights and make a lot of friends. good free breakfast, perfect location and the staff is more than helpfull!! The bathrooms are not entirely clean but it's not big deal if you're only staying a couple of nights... I would certainly return!! Perfect relation price-product

Liked: The FunkHouse has the best and most friendly staff. It is a great, small and cosy hostel. Great location in the heart of Kings Cross! Can hardly recommend that hostel!

Liked: paintings everywhere, really creative, friendly and helpfull stuff, breakfast free (not only toast!), nice veranda on the roof, air condition in the rooms, clean toilets and showers, lots of activities offered from the hostel, just a short walk away from the train station(2min), 30 min from the airport, lots of nightclubs and pubs around. if u stay 3 nights you get 15 drinks for free (in the city) and lots of vouchers. best coffee shop next door (cheap and great coffee, nice pastry), lots of backpacker hostels around, opportunity to meet lots of travellers

Liked: CLEAN, the staff was very helpful (thank you to Ben at Funk House for answering all my questions, and for providing helpful tidbits that made my stay enjoyable). I would not hesitate to return or recommend Funk house to my friends.
