Liked: Not much

Disliked: Hair extensions in the bathroom, dirty room, no pillow, no sheets or duvet, cold showers, like a prison, tiny dirty kitchen, tiny dirty overcrowded common room. noisy at night, bin collection depo next door.

Disliked: küche klein und nichtmal salz oder öl vorhanden + schlechte internetverbindung + unkompetentes Personal und check in erst ab 4pm

Liked: Good location, decent sized TV in the common room.

Disliked: No foxtel, doesn't seem very social, have to put down a $30 key deposit. There appeared to be some kind of school trip there. Kids do NOT belong in backpacker hostels.

Liked: located very central, could walk everywhere we wanted to go, fridge in our room

Disliked: wifi was very very slow, not usable for surfing, rooms cramped, very few cutlery, not the cleanest hostel we've stayed at

Liked: The location was fantastic. The dorm I was in was clean enough and all my roommates were friendly and respectful. The sheets were clean. Bathroom and shower facilities that I was able to use (as I was in a 16 person dorm) were fine, but not as nice as the one shown on the website. Common room was okay for hanging out, watching tv or eating meals.

Disliked: No freebies or vouchers on offer. You can only get a bottom bunk if your timing is good or you are very lucky. There was no air conditioning in our room but my stay was in mid september and I was next to a indow which I could open and close at my discretion, which was okay. I think some of the rooms are without windows completely. Free tea/coffee on offer would have been nice, but there were plenty of places to buy a cuppa close by as the hostel was so central.

Liked: The hostel was quiet with lots of older travellers and families. Lockers in rooms were great.

Disliked: Not particularly clean, no character, enormously slow lift to get between floors.

Disliked: it was difficult to get changed in the bathroom as the floor was always wet and the bed was a bit hard to sleep on

Liked: the location is great, it is in the middle of the city, near chinatown, Darlings Harbour and in walking distance to the Rocks and the Opera.

Disliked: it was very dirty. Even after the cleaning it didn´t seem to be clean. One day 2 of 3 toilets were messed up totally, the water (and not only) was even in the floor, but when I told the staff, the answer was, we have to wait for the cleaning staff in the morning. it was disgusting, the whole area was messed up. for one floor there were only 3 toilets and 2 showers. The room was for 8 people, but there were 10 in. The beds didn´t have proper stairways, I had to climb in my bed. In my bed was a dirty linen with hairs on it. The room was never cleaned in 3 days, only the rubbish was taken out. the laundry was working 24 hours and it was behind the wall to my bed. The kitchen and the dining room were dirty as well, so I preferred to eat in Chinatown.

Liked: Excellent location. Free wifi.

Disliked: All the staff are really rude and unhelpful. I have come back a couple of times to this place and everytime all staff are extremely rude and unfriendly.

Liked: Austrailia is not a cheap place or a good one looking for good hostels. This place is no exception even if tries to be cheap. The manager is a good guy but others from him and the rooftop there is nothing special about the place.

Disliked: The kitchen is terrible. No 24h reception. We got locked out and couldn't get in at night because of tecnical malfunction. We were not given an apology or compensation. If you're booked on Hostelbookers they make you wait, they want you to book directly with them and pay a higher fee.

Liked: It is in the very center of Sydney and it is affordable.

Disliked: It wasn't clean and comfy at all. The Mattress was very uncomfortable and the lavatory and washing rooms were dirty.
