We are centrally located, close to all that Sydney has to offer!

We are close to all the main attractions of Sydney including China Town and the famous Queen Victoria Building, as well as all the museums, galleries, and the OPERA HOUSE.

Public transport is close by and is very reliable. Town Hall Underground Train Station is a minute’s walk away and trains run from there to the HARBOUR and to the famous BONDI BEACH.

The nightlife in Sydney is fantastic with numerous clubs and pubs. These are all very close by! Sydney Backpackers really has the perfect city centre location.

In addition to being in the best location Sydney Backpackers has clean, spacious, fully equipped dorm rooms. 2,4,6,8 or 12 bed dorms available (mixed or female). Each room has air-conditioning, lockers with padlocks supplied free of charge, fridges, tv's (some with DVD players, and very comfortable beds. En-suite rooms are also available.

Sydney Backpackers has to be one of the most secure hostels in Australia. With Electronic key access and 24 hour security at reception plus CCTV Cameras on every floor you can be sure that you and your belongings are completely safe.

The hostel also has a 24 HOUR GAMES ROOM with pool table, arcade games and comfy sofa's (all fully soundproof so you can play music all nite if you want to).

On the roof is a HUGE BBQ AREA, perfect for parties or just hanging out with friends. BBQ equipment can be found in the fully equipped modern, clean kitchen which is ideal for preparing your own meals.
A common room with TV, DVD player (free DVD rental available daily), tables and comfy chairs is just next door to the kitchen for you to hang out with friends in or to meet new ones.

This is the best quiet location that you could ever image if you think of staying in a budget accommodation right in the middle of the city.
