Liked: The location is great! Probably the perfect hostel for young people interested in heavy partying.

Disliked: Having to pay for Internet access feels like traveling ten years back in time when compared to Europe (or Malaysia for that matter). A little like being charged extra for electricity. And of course you have to pay once for your smart phone, once for your laptop, and once for your iPad. Profit - for them! Also, the bathrooms are just clean enough so you can't really complain - but not cleaner.

Liked: it was just awesome, and finding out you have got a Colombian girl working at the front desk made my day. It was a great experience and would recommend it 150%!!

Disliked: nothing! everything was soo cool

Liked: Honestly, nothing. I dont like being treated like a 12 year old on a school trip.

Disliked: Everything! - The waiting for lifts, not being able to use stairs or get to another floor where my friend was on. The kitchen, not enough hobs or fridges (eggs got smashed coz people had to squash thier food bags in.) The TV area near the kitchen - have to go down lifts to start dvd, change volumn, etc. PS 10 min wait for lifts) Rooms kinda cleaned once per week. The bathrooms where disgusting. Loud announcement in your room at 10:30am - not good when hung over! I could hear the bar in the basement all through the night (gone 4am,) which is fine if your drinking down there but I couldnt afford to drink everynight for 10 nights over xmas and new year. The bar itself is strick, got told cant have anymore drinks becuase there was too many on the table (we had one each and 5 of us sharing one small table) No where to hang and chill and talk. All in all, hated it and spent most of my time at a friends hostel coz this one stressed me out!

Disliked: too expensive for facilitys, free offers are not really free, no towels, bathroom dirty, was cleaned only in late afternoon, staff not interested, didn´t know and tell things you asked fore

Liked: Awesome location right next to the central station, clean, a good hostel.

Disliked: Not worth the money. I have seen better / same hostels for less money. Nothing which would be worth to pay more than for other hostels.

Liked: was a very social hostel, lots of friends to be made and good if you travelling by yourself. the side bar is good value for food and happy hour you can get cheap drinks.

Disliked: Was very young! Dont go if you over 25. did remind me of an 18 year old party sometimes. I stayed in a 10 dorm so it was what to be expected... little sleep. i made some good friends there but would not stay longer than a few nights.

Liked: Brilliant place!!! Loved the stay and will most certainly be back... The vibe is totally cool and hip. and the fact that it is over the street from Central Station makes it Idea!!!

Disliked: Maybe have separate rooms for guys and girls?

Liked: Lovely clean comfortable twin room with a nice flatscreen tv!! Hot clean showers 24hours Great location, close to central station and railway sq for buses and trains Cheap drinks at the bar

Disliked: ridiculously busy kitchen, not big enough for the amount of people staying at the hostel Constant slamming doors on 4th floor 2 lifts for the whole building is a joke it takes ages to get in or out Never got a hot meal at the cafe/bar always lukewarm

Liked: Felt the hostel overall was really good, having come from a very clean and immaculate hostel wake up had a lot to live up to. Found the party atmosphere brilliant and the social areas were really good. Side bar is brilliant to have on your doorstep and the hostel always has activities and promotions going on! Miffed I missed the footy last week!

Disliked: Only 3 plug sockets in the room of 10 people is not enough especially considering they were all in the same corner.

Liked: Great hostel, great bar, pretty clean, was like a nice hotel just with hostel rooms. I think there were small lockers in the room if you brought your own pad lock.

Disliked: price, but it is sydney

Liked: Good location, very modern, clean, comfortable, nice rooms. i really like the bar downstairs.

Disliked: Only one average sized kitchen for the whole 7 floor building. Internet system is poor compared to other hostels.

Liked: Staff were friendly and helpful 24 hours a day. Easily managed to book in for another few nights with no issues.

Liked: Wake Up! is the best hostel I've stayed in, the staff are very helpful and friendly and the location is great! Central station is a 2 minute walk away and it's walking distance to all the best places to go. Me and my friends spent nearly every night in Side Bar, they serve lovely food and we loved the live bands! We spend most nights dancing and partying away till the early hours. The dorms and bathrooms are very clean and the kitchen is good if your on a budget!

Liked: The breakfast was good value. The bathrooms were clean. It took a couple of days before the room were cleaned and the bins emptied though. Overall, it was a good place to stay. The staff were friendly. You had the option to have quite time by yourself or meet up with others.

Disliked: The internet should be free and so should the breakfast.

Liked: Not bad, overall. They provided a good walking tour map. Wouldn't stay here more than a couple of nights.

Disliked: Internet was a bit slow. Very big hostel; young crowd.
