 The location is great, across the street from central station and within easy walking distance of darling harbour and opera house etc. Side bar is also good for meeting people and foods also good and not too expensive!

This place was excellent. The staff was extremely helpful, the place clean and travelers were respectful of one anothers varying schedules both for enjoying the city and traveling to other parts of the country. The communications center was excellent as well as the travel desk, cafe, bar and hostel specials. All of the travelers that I met here were willing to share their travel stories in Sydney or around the country. I chose this for its high customer rating and I was extremely pleased with my accomodations. It was central to all of the main neighborhoods and to shopping and restaurants. I'd recommend it highly to my friends who plan on visiting Down Under in Australia. Very universal with travelers from all over the globe.

The staff were very friendly and helpful - dealt very efficiently with a busy time. Cafe staff great. Good food. Hostel well designed, clean and cheerful. Good general range of facilities. Phones would be better sited away from bedrooms. - very noisy. Needs another lift for busy traffic. But excellent value and made very welcome.
