Liked: It is close to the main train station and easy to locate if you are coming from the airport.

Disliked: The hostel is geared towards individuals who are there for long-term stay. I would not suggest the hostel for those who are considering 'backpacking" and encountering others who are there for a relatively short time frame. The population tends to simply go to the "downstairs" bar and simply proceed to spend their entire night there and consequently the following day in their bedrooms. There are other hostels in the area that provide better service, more amenities for your dollar and overall, better atmosphere.

Liked: The floors were decorated with different themes which made it fun and exciting to be in. And the entrance area was so bright and lively! Great bar down stairs too.

Disliked: Nothing ... just dont put backpakcers in rooms with long-termers. They take over the room, making alot of mess and its very awkward for us who stay for just a few night. Feel's like we are intruding on thier space and thats not fair .... room 709 (hint hint)

Liked: it was like a hotel just 10 bed in each room. A great place to stay, clean, safe with a good location i couldn't ask for a better hostel

Liked: It was a really good location, was clean, our room had a big TV, the beds were really comfortable and had good facilities.

Disliked: There wasn't much to dislike, probably the best hostel i have stayed at.

Liked: Possibly the best hostel I have ever stayed at. Conveniently located directly opposite Sydney Central Station. The staff were friendly and helpful. Security was tight; your room keycard was required to take the lifts up to the dorm, and CCTV was in operation. Reception was open 24/7. There was a bar and restaurant downstairs, which served cheap food and booze, and there was a live act on every night. This was perfect for meeting and socialising with fellow travelers. The next time I visit Sydney, I will definitely come back to Wake Up, and I highly recommend this hostel to anyone.

Disliked: The only two negative things about my stay were the lack of plug sockets in the dorms, and expensive laundry ($8 for detergent, washer and dryer).

Liked: this hostel is probably the nicest i have been in Australia, its clean with it feeling brand new, the staff are really helpful and friendly and the hostel itself is in an ideal location.

Disliked: only one problem and that is the lifts! only 2 for i think 7 floors so can b waiting a while for them sometimes!

Liked: close to everything, lots of bars around but we stayed at sidebar, staff was so helpful! really fun place

Disliked: it was a bit noisy but it was so much fun

Liked: Great location right next to central station, makes it very easy to find. Nice large kitchen but closes at 10pm so no late night munchies !!! Also sidebar down stairs is a half decent bar.

Disliked: The two lifts are quite slow. Hostel is quite expensive but seems that's not unusual in Sydney.

Liked: LOVE wakeup! seriously such a good hostel. the downstairs bar was packed and i had some really cool flatmates in my dorm. also the guys on the front desk were so fun and helpful. good breakfast in the cafe too.
