Liked: Family room was very spacious with a double bed and bunk beds. Lovely balcony. Tea and coffee making facilities. Staff vary helpful. Hostel location and price excellent. Would recommend this hostel to backpackers of all ages.

Liked: Eventhough they did not receive my reservation on time and that they were suposed to be full, I had this fantastic night manager who could find me a room.

Disliked: Their website was stating that the front desk was open til 7 pm but was close at 6 pm.

Liked: This place was terrible. Easily the worst place Ive stayed (and ive stayed in some pretty bad places), especially considering the price! The rooms are extremely dirty, sheets smell bad, rooms have very poor ventilation- and no ac, only 1 tiny floor fan for the entire 10 bed room. Check out is early-10 and you lose your deposit if you are even 1 minute late. The manly area is nice, but gets old fast. On top of this the staff confiscates any alcohol found in the rooms and you are not allowed to drink in them. Very loud at night, but not in a good way. Bathrooms are in poor condition and the majority of the time ,not stocked with toilet paper. Most everyone here is long term and either French or Swiss and/or studying an English program near by. Some of these students are very friendly, but otherwise, people mostly keep to themselves or smoke on the balcony. Unless you are desperate for a place, there is no reason to stay at this dump.
