Liked: Glebe Point Road is great - full of character, a village vibe and plenty of cafes/restaurants/stores etc for when you don't want to go into the CBD. The staff are friendly, and I liked the Friday night BBQ which was a good way to mingle on my first night. Overall enjoyed my stay here a lot.

Disliked: The girls bathroom had one sink with no sockets for using hairdryers etc. So I 'had' to wait until my roommates were awake until I coud dry my hair in the dorm. The bedrooms had sinks with a mirror which was good, but with no spotlight, so again you couldn't use it in the morning without switching the main light on and waking everyone up. As girly as it sounds, I couldn't stay here on a working hol as it would be really impractical to get ready for work early in the mornings. No air con, fans were a bit noisy. Even though the place has had a paint job recently, it needs a proper refurb - it's a tad run-down in places - e.g. the sofas down the corridors are gross. Although I loved Glebe, I'd stay closer to central station on future visits to Sydney.

Liked: location was really nice. glebe is so nice!! our room was really spacious! the roof terasse was a really nice place to stay specifically in the morning .

Disliked: our ventilator was making such a noise we couldn`t use him really-and so it was really hot.

Liked: nice atmosphere, great staff, spotless rooms and facilites, located in a nice quiet suburb

Disliked: distance from city centre - but if you dont want to stay in city centre or noisy kings cross its great

Liked: It's pretty clean, kitchen is big and well equiped.

Disliked: LIttle out of the center, although there is a bus running from the location. Many long stayers in this hostel, so hard to meet new people. Also many 'older' people or families: nothing wrong with that but if you're travelling alone not the place to meet new friends.

Liked: Nice locations; not too far from Central, but the neighbourhoud has a atmosphere of it's own too. Clean rooms, not too big though, but they all have a own sink, which is nice

Disliked: Not a lot of dayligth, and it is still a lot of money per nigth...

Liked: pretty much the best hostel ive stayed in down the east coast. good clean kitchen and good size dining area. The room was lovely, nice to have a sink and mirror! Its a short bus ride from main centre, worth getting a 'ride 10' ticket if your there a few days as it save you money. only thing was the showers although warm had no power!!

Liked: Glebe is a great area, lots pf great places to eat and drink but I wouldn't recommend it for a first visit / weekend in Sydney as it is justt a little too far our from the sights. It was great for us as this was our second week so it was really good for us to out of the city and in the real Sydney. Lovely to have a sink in our very large room with tea / coffee making facilities. It just needs a really good clean - wouldn't like to hazard a guess at when the last time was that they actually moved the sofas / beds to hoover underneath....

Liked: Dorms were a nice size and included sink and lots of places to store you bags and bits and bobs!! Also lots of social areas big kitchen and nice roof terrace. Only thing that was bit annoying is that the roof shut at 10 in the eve but because residents in surrounding area.

Liked: It was otherwise ok, but no air conditioning means it's impossible to sleep when it's hot outside.. In a 5 person dorm room there was just one tiny fan. So I definitely wouldn't recommend this place during summer months. Friendly staff though.
